Hall - "Wherever you're slotted, you've got to make the best of your ice time. Charlie Coyle, as a third-line center, that's one of the best third-line centers in the whole league. I don't take it as a demotion."

Zacha is a strong complimentary piece to go with Krejci and Pasta but Hall changes the whole dynamic of the third line. The third line can match up against anyone and hold their own in both ends. Hall has the puck a ton more on the third line, when he’s up on the second line he seems to defer too much to Pasta and Krejci. Great move by the coach and perfect that Hall don’t see it as a demotion.

For all the crap that was spewed all these years about Hall (mostly by Edmonton fans and sports writers) not being a team guy or being a cancer in the locker room, I have to say we sure haven't seen that at all here in Boston. He is a nice fit on the 3rd line, certainly will make Coyle more valuable, and will draw more favorable matchups. Nice to be able to put a former Hart Trophy winner on your 3rd line!
