They should have traded Cindy to the Bruins.

Yikes, not bright from Pasta there. Surprised he ripped the slapper. No response from Pens though either. Thought it might be a Morgan Reilly reaction there!

Guess we have found who should be out there when we need an empty netter in the playoffs! My pre=season statsheet predicted Heinen to play 62 games with 9 goals 9 assists..I am SO happy I was way off on this guy!! But forget the points for a minute, look at everything else he has done..17 goals 19 assists in 71 games is a remarkable feat and he could easi;y have 25 goals with a little puck luck..But stat wise, he's right there with Geekie, JVR, JD, Freddy, minimun salary and an invitee, what a pick up and what a loss for the Pens!! Guys like Heinen are difference makers come postseason, he's so darn dependable, even his +/- of +14 is actually 2nd among Bruin forwards just in case one of you wanted another really good number from him..My 7th player!!!

You were way closer than I was brother! I didn't think he'd even make the team! I really liked Geekie cashing in last night too. He is going to be a really important piece in the playoffs. Need some of that secondary scoring!

All over but the crying for Sidney and crew! i literally have no issue with Pasta shooting his last shot. He could have absolutely ripped it, and he didnt. I'm not sure he really knew how much time was left. Pens fans just boo hooing and being Salty because they gonna be golfing.

Cry me a river, Crosby! Enjoy your summer! I'm tired of Bruins being "the nice guys." and I was hoping that would truly shift when Bergy retired. We dont fare well in playoffs when we play nice. I like the aggression, its a statement.

I mean how friggin' blind can you get to let a player getting just above league average salary walk because you didnt tender him a contract?? Bruins might have even got him for cheaper but were content on giving him a 2 yr 4 million dollar contract, well deserved I say, well deserved and shame on Carolina leaving him open to Seattle too..I'm very happy we have him going into the postseason as he could be another one of those X Factors!! Haha I have about 10 players that COULD be X factors going into PS..Hopefully we have a really good run brother!!

I like the aggression, its a statement. HI Kovs, I believe you bring up a critical point, Bruins physicality when it comes to facing tougher teams like Tampa, Flo etc.. I just hope Maroon can help in that dept..He's practically our Looch replacement and being an ex'Lightning player, it might help alot if we play those guys 1st round..I guess Bruins REALLY dont care who they play 1st round after last night..They could of easily rested players and played Leafs 1st round but I like what Marchand said, something like ""We dont pay much attention to the standings and we feel con=mfortable playing against anyone 1st round""..Bruins are not a physical team but they're a big team so if they cant give it, well at least they can take it.. Personally I feel really good going into postseason, for what it's worth I'm predicting if Bruins win round one, they go all the way to the Finals..Maroon actually played over 13 minutes and had a team leading 5 hits, I think Kovs might like that stat and he's gonna be better every game he plays..I know all about back pain as it's part of my daily routine but not back surgery..By throwing 5 hits in his very 1st game back, shouldn't that be a really good sign that he's on the mend at the perfect time?? Surely hope so..

We had a little look at what Pat Maroon can bring to the Bruins team..What grade would you give him considering this is his 1st game in quite awhile?? I give him a B+.

Not exactly James Arness but we'll take it!! Honestly I think Maroon needs to get playing time to get ready but I’m not sure he’s a lock for game 1. He’s very slow, if Tampa gets greasy in game 1 we bring him in for game 2 but otherwise I’d keep him out for more speed on the fourth line. I could change my mind in the next two games though😀
