Stoney Curtis. Actors / actresses like Curtis and Ann Margaret were ahead of their time adding their voices and characters to a cartoon.

Not a celebrity to anyone else but me. Had to put my dog down this morning. She had been sick for years, and all the steroids, pain killers, and other pills took their tole. She was fine yesterday, but overnight she just wanted water and would not stop drinking it. The VET we have is great. Had her cell and she opened up the office to do it. Her name was Taz O'Reilly, and was as tough as he was.

Penthouse photographer and founder, Bob Guccione. A job that we all wish we had back in the 70's. First men's magazine to show some fur.

Rest in Peace Sparky Anderson, one of the best baseball managers and people of all time. His health was going downhill pretty fast. Good that he went before he had to suffer much.

He was a Canadian comedy icon. Sad to see him go, but he lived a pretty good long life.

Too bad indeed. Some serious roles in the Poseidon Adventure and Forbidden Planet but forever will be known for the deadpan delivery in Airplane and Police Squad! The six episode run of Police Squad! series on ABC was hilarious and why it was not renewed is beyond me. His spoof of the old Abbott and Costello who's on first routine during the pilot while interrogating a witness was comedy gold. And who else could look up at Priscilla Presley and comment on her beaver without getting slapped or sued.
His brother Erik was the deputy Prime Minister of Canada during the mid '80's

Captain Beefheart Dec 17. One of the only guys who could make Frank Zappa seem normal. The good ole Captain, Don Van Vliet, and Zappa were both blues enthusiasts and attended Antelope Valley High together in the early '60s. Mr Beefheart was a bit of a jerk to work for though and I think in '73 or '74 his whole band quit on him at once. Also Max Jammer, Israeli physicist died. Probably made some significant contributions in his field but wow, what a perfect name for porn. And spealing of porn, oddly enough died the same month as porn legend, John Leslie who worked alongside Cal Jammer in the early '90s. The world is full of weird coincidences.
