Think we need to tweak that 2nd PP unit.

Would have been awesome if we went and scored right away after the ref kicked it over! Would have been a nice assist.

Well this is close to rock bottom.
I think the Pens are going to give us our fourth straight loss based on how bad we look.
On the bright side Swayman had a nice third, he needed it.

Without Pasta manning his spot on the pp the opposition has absolutely nothing to worry about over there. We have no threat after Pasta in that left circle. I can’t believe we haven’t worked on something new to at least confuse the opposing teams 🤷🏻

The Bruins have several issues besides the injuries..Forget the standings, gotta be the best to beat the best so shag the regular season, get those mistakes ironed out NOW before the real games begin..Lindholm is showing how valuable he is to the Bruins just by his absense, need him back maybe more than Pastrnak.. Get everyone healthy and rested, set up a competition for icetime so that when playoffs start and HOPEFULLY Bruins are healthy, they ice the best team they have..Cause once everyone's healthy, what happens to players like McLaughlin when Pastrnak and Frederic return. Is there a place for him?? Honestly I dont know who he'll replace..Foligno is playing better and with his experience, I highly doubt he sits..Good problem to have once we have a full lineup..

The injuries aren't helping at all, but I am also wondering if we peaked too soon. I think there were cracks already starting to show before all the players going down. The inability to consistently get pucks out of our own end has been a going issue for the better part a of month, or two now. Even if we get healthy, not sure they have much more left to show us, if they win a round, I will be shocked.

Not really too dismayed with the results of the last few games. Been playing good teams who are hitting on all cylinders and other lottery teams who are playing free and easy. Some major key injuries down the stretch to a not very deep team and also one where the top goalie has somehow lost his mojo at the worst possible time. The interesting part is how Bruce is handling things. While a little more composed in last night’s presser, something seems amiss.

As crappy as we look right now we all know we’re not this bad. Our best case scenario by far is to maintain the first wildcard position. The Canes are tough but if we can get past them we get Pittsburgh or the Rangers. Way better scenario than getting Florida, Toronto or TBay in my opinion. We just need to get healthy and stay healthy, we just don’t have the depth to withstand any key injuries. Also one of our goalies needs to be and play like the defacto #1. When people say you have two number 1s going into the playoffs it really means you’re fucked, you have nothing.
Go Bruins and hang on to that first wildcard spot.

Some great points you make Crafar but I wonder is there more going on than meets the eye?? Butch loses it after loss to Blues,Bergeron lost it last night when he got called for a penalty and put us 2 man short[it was a penalty]..IS there something going on behind closed doors that somehow the media never caught on too?? I dunno, Boston just looks like an entirely different team here of late and I dont mean just the injuries..Maybe Im looking for something thats not even there but something seems off with this team..

To many Men on the ice on top of the other bullshit calls make it hard to watch, Butch losing his mind results in his Players fallowing suit . Same happened with Clode .

Who would you perfer Bruins play IF they finished in one of the WC spots, Panthers or Canes??
Goals for::::: Florida 305 Canes 247 Bruins 231 Goals against: Florida 216 Canes 180 Bruins 202
Freddy Anderson and the Canes have best GAA in the league, Panthers have best GF in the league so pick your poison..Florida's weakness might be goaltending, only position where Bruins are better than them plus Boston played much better against Panthers than they did the Canes SO maybe they're better off finishing in the 8th seed and playing likely the Panthers..Let Leafs and Tampa duke it out 1st round.

I think the Panthers are beatable. I'm not so sure about us getting passed Carolina. It would be close but no cigar if we play them I'd say. Swayman looked solid in the third. We need that guy to show up again. Assuming Ullmark won't be the guy going forward but anything is possible.

Jan 30th against Dallas Swayman came in cold after Ullmark got pulled. I can't recall if Ullmark got pulled any other times but perhaps!

Yeah, I can't disagree with you. We all knew that the run they were on was going to end at some point and would probably be followed by a rough stretch, all teams do this. It just seems like there's something more going on. Like you said, we might be just looking for something that's not there, but things do seem a bit off. I'm hoping we get everyone back for at least a couple of games before the playoffs start, just to see if that stabilizes things a bit. They brought the effort against the Penguins, I will be interested to see if that is the case against STL given how badly they played against them last week. We shall see I suppose.
