Lindholm is looking like a homerun for Sweeney, damn is he ever playing great hockey..6 pts his past 2 games..He and a bunch of other guys must really love coaches style of play cause this is one UNREAL 10-1 Beginning to the season!! Honestly I was hoping for the team to houve around the .500 mark but Certainly not this! Wish to God we see this team with no injuries cause they're playing great, players having great starts to the season..Foligno with 3 goals 7 pts and playing like a complete different player from last season, Ullmark's been great and hopefully Swayman will soon return cause he was coming around..Just a great start, certainly not a boring team thats for sure!!

Despite injuries this team delivers and is entertaining to watch. I was quite critical of DS prior to the season and still feel like if we don't win it this year, we're going to be in tough for a good stretch of years. That being said, they are indeed fun to watch and seem to be enjoying playing together and for one another. And the coaching change I disagreed with now looks to have been the right move as well...I guess that's why I'm a reactive fan and he's an NHL GM.

You would think we would learn as Fans I remember roasting Chia on some of the moves he did , and it turned Ok . I still think we could be a tad tougher .

I like it when we win without Bergie and Marchand getting a point. Secondary and tertiary scoring!

On some levels though, Chia did deserve it with some of the contracts and NTCs he doled out. He did win us our first Cup in 40 years though and for that I am forever grateful.

"I thought Nick Foligno was our best forward for the first 30 minutes, so I just wanted to get him more ice time. I reward players for playing the right way."
Jim Montgomery had high praise for Nick Foligno after the Bruins' win over the Rangers.

Nice win by the team and I agree that it is nice to see the team win without Marchand and Bergeron scoring.

Jim Montgomery had high praise for Nick Foligno after the Bruins' win over the Rangers. Foligno so far has been the biggest pleasant surprise for the team. We were all hard on him and wanted him moved out, however, what a great turn around for him and kudos to him for proving Bruins fans wrong.

This, this team while fun to watch is still more of a regular season team and not nearly tough enough for the playoffs. I do hope they prove me wrong but Frederic scares no one and outside of Clifton there is really no one to be scared of on the roster. Fun to watch absolutely, tough? Not even remotely.

On some levels though, Chia did deserve it with some of the contracts and NTCs he doled out. He did win us our first Cup in 40 years though and for that I am forever grateful. That is why Chia was ultimately fired from two teams now. You can not fall in love with the bottom 6 forwards nor give NTC's out like they are candy. DS still deserves to be raked over the coals by fans. This team while fun to watch really has no good future as most of the best youngsters are on the roster already and the cupboard is very bare prospect wise. The Lindholm trade is one that DS made that I liked at the time and still have not changed my mind. Given where the B's pick was last draft it is very rare to get a high calibre player so I have zero issues with getting a player like Lindholm who is less then 30 for the price he paid.

I'm not so sure Bruins will bottom out when Krejci and Bergeron retire..With 2 new hips, Marchand is good for another 5 yrs so thats a guarenteed 5 yrs in PO's with him alone..Lysell, Lohrei and who knows what others will be had from either trade or draft..Coyle gotta a few yrs left, as do Zacha not to mention Pasta, McAvoy and Lindholm..There's no predicting WHEN Bruins wont make playoffs or fall off the face of the earth..It;s the here and now and always will be!! I cant predict what this team will look like in 3 years, maybe thats next time we win cup..Just enjoy this while it lasts..I agree we gotta get tougher for a deep run and hopefully that'll be addressed..
