Not too thrilled about that third period. It was like they were playing prevent defense for the 1st 15 minutes. Then they went all out to score in the last 5 when they really didn't need to as they had powerplay for 5 minutes basically. I am sure Monty is pissed as hell that they gave up a 2 on one when it was 5 on 3. All they had to do was move the puck around the perimeter and make them chase. Somebody needs to bring the puck into the zone on the PP other than Pasta. Every time he zips it across the ice to nobody when he gets in the zone. I guess I should be happy with the win but I am not. Didn't like that game at all. Hope they are better tonight. This is a season of excellence and the Bruins have made our standards very high. I agree, a lot of bad play and lack of details last night. Pastrnak letting McDavid off the hook on that second goal looked bad, also 5 forwards out on the 5 on 3 late when McDavid and Draisaitl are definitely looking for the equalizer. After all we do have two high end defenders that are very capable on the PP. We need to be ramping up and playing the right way. I will say, the Oilers are extremely fast and I had the feeling the Bruins were feeling the pressure of probably the quickest transition game in hockey.

To me it looked felt like a play off game from the drop of the puck till the final buzzer. The Bruins held their own. yes could've been more thighter for sure!!
