Which is odd because he was great when Charlie Mac was out to start last season. Maybe whatever was wrong with him in the playoffs last year continues to plague him. Broken foot definitely hindered his play in the playoffs. Bad penalties and really no offense (no goals through 12 games) are my main bones to pick with him lately. He has an assist in each of the last two games so trending in a better direction but shit - Shatty is on the 1st PP unit instead of him with McAvoy suspended. That says it all to me! They'd probably sooner put Carlo on the top PP ahead of Lindholm at this rate!

Yup and I wonder if there is still an issue with that, or something else is going on...he's looked like bag for a good stretch of this season so far.

If he needs some down time to get right once Mac comes back, maybe that would help. If it is something lingering, I'd rather he get it worked out now, early in the season, than in April.

He’ll need to get his bus ticket back to Providence when our reinforcements come back. Despite his physical attributes he needs time to learn how to play the position. Is he worse than Forbort Forbort was a +7 in 8 games this season, 2nd best on team, Pasta is a +8..PK nowhere near as good with him out. and even though Shattenkirk is playing well, even with Dmen like Mitchell and Wotherspoon, Shatty played the very least minutes last night, only playing 15 minutes.. Lohrei played just a little more..Lohrei looks good at times but he do have lapses inside his blueline..If Forbort returns, someone goes to Providence. I was really surprised to see Forbort at +7 cause alot of his minutes are on the PK which dont affect his +/- so that speaks volumns to me whether its right or not.. beantownsports.proboards.com/post/426391/edit

While Lindholm’s game has drawn a lot of attention, to be fair it’s not only him. You could add Jake, Freddy, Geekie, Gryz and even Coyle to that list. I think there’s a reason why it’s happening. While having taken advantage of a favorable schedule can’t really say they’re playing good hockey. Their play down the middle is nowhere near what it was last year. How could it be. Bergeron, DK and Nosek did a lot of things that maybe didn’t show up on the score sheet but sure made life a lot easier for everyone. There’s more pressure in the D zone and less plays made offensively. Think there’s still more trial and error to come.

Bruins had only 10 hits all night..I cant believe that, honestly..We're missing Looch badly and of course 3 Dmen..Like you said, lots of offensive players not getting the job done, one that stands out for me is DeBrusk. He's one of my favorite players and he can play way better than what he's done so far, Geekie another..Coyle is was and likely will always be a 40pt player, good for 3rd line, not 2nd..And we have 2 rookies at centre most times in Beecher and Poitras..Beecher doing great in FO circle, not so much Potsy, thats maybe why Geekie takes alot of them..Coyle really doing well in that regard..
