I keep seeing holes and weaknesses in every aspect of the team but we’re at the top of the league. Sadly I agree, we’re done in the first round if the playoffs started tomorrow. But guys thats just it; This is not playoff time!! Bruins could make a splash later on in the trade department to better prepare for platyoffs and last season proved once again it dont matter where you finish in the reg season as long as you get in..Bruins are close to tops in the league but seem to play their worst against lower seed teams..Yes I would be concerned going into the postseason with this team but I highly doubt that;ll happen..Sweeney done everything he could last season to better prepare Bruins for a long run..To be in the position we are right now with the majot turnaround from last season and injuries, we're pretty damn fortunate you ask me..Hopefully they'll get tougher long before playoffs begin BUT gotta get in first so this great start could be crucial for whats coming.. I agree with what you’re saying but I can’t decide whether I want us giving up any prospects or picks to get better this spring. Last year I totally agreed with the “all in” approach, it was one of the best looking Bruins teams in a long time. This year I’m up for house keeping and tweaking with regards to moving or extending people in their last year but we need to hang on to youth and picks and start building for a few years from now I think.

Time to move on from the marshmallows and bring in some nut crackers 🤷‍♂️

Yes, most certainly feel same way..Last season, Sweeney gave up alot of future assets to make Boston as strong as possible going into playoffs BUT we had a pretty darn good team before those moves were made..I dont want to give up any more of our future unless someone like maybe Lysell brings back a great return but cant see that happening yet until he;'s more proven..If they can trade Grzelyk for a tough Dman, and maybe a forward to boot.. I know some here including myself are not pleased witth some players cause their not producing as they normally do..One that seems to take the most negativity is Jake DeBrusk..But personally I got very little issue with Jake..Coach asked him to get better defensively and thats eactly what he's trying to do and it HAS to affect his offensive output..How mant here expected Jake to be on the PK 2 yrs ago?? He's averaging more icetime than he ever had so at least me and Monty agree haha..But I respect everyones opinion, at least I try too..We have all known each other for a very long time, right back to the Boston Globe days, they shut down or something like that and we all met right here..I consider you all friends and while we wont always agree, and we shouldn't, we all have a great respect for each other, I like that..
