Not for Swayman this is tied or worse Swayman was great but Devils young goalie kept them in it after that 1st period..Both were dynamite in net!! But past 3 games, Bruins have outshot opposition..They were getting outshot almost every game previous to now so thats a good sign but what the hell is Frederic doing on 4th line to start game?? Monty just gets under my skin with his line juggling.. Yesterday wasn’t a cut and dry game. We dominated the first but 0-0 after the period We scored 30 seconds into the second but the bulk of that period belonged to New Jersey. They outplayed and out shot us in the second. The third we get the slight edge in shots but the play was even but we got them with a pp goal and an empty goal. What I’m saying is Sway made some huge goals to keep the score 1-0 after 2 periods. I’m with you NFLD on us outshooting the other teams lately, it matters. I don’t think it’s garbage shots either, it’s not one and done, it’s more puck possession time and winning battles in the ozone that’s leading to those shots.

I really think Wootherspoon wants to stay Doubt he makes it through waivers once Forbort and Carlo are ready. So, sending Lohrei back to Providence and having Wotherspoon as the 7th/press box dman...is that doable? If they don't trade someone, of course.

If they don't trade someone, of course. Lohrei has shown he can be a great Dman given time..He makes alot of rookie mistakes but thats to be expected..Wotherspoon has improved his game alot the past 5-6 games and seems to me he's on the ice all the time and he HAS played games over 20 minutes..If I'm right, Boston can send Lohrei down to Prov anytime without worrying about waiver wire but not the case with Wotherspoon.. I would send Lohrei back down rather than lose Wotherspoon to waivers..His minutes played is way higher than Lohrei's especially of late..LOhrei has a long career in this league but I wouldnt want him as one of our top 6 postseason..Thats pretty much how I feel anyway..

Wootherspoon has changed my take on him in the past few gms. He's played pretty solid D W/input on th O side too. Lohrei does have some sweet moves in th O zone, seemed to be some what calm in the D zone ,so for him I believe he just needs time & direction to be a topp 6 Dman eventually. He looks tall, add some wt/muscle too. Nice to have these "problems" eh!?!?!

Yes, great problem to have and by playing top minutes in Providence, that should improve his game alot..I believe they have a terrific staff down there..Not so much for forwards but it seems you can take any defenseman out of Providence and he already knows how Boston defense is sey up..Seems they jump into the nhl without missing a beat..Kevan Miller, Adam Mcquaid and now Wotherspoon are all good examples and given time, I believe Lohrei will be much better if Bruins can stay healthy on the back end so he can remain down there until next season..If so, I bet he'll be in our top6 next season and never plays down there again!!

I really wasn't impressed with him early on, but if he continues to improve, I think he'll more than be able to replace Forbort. And on Lohrei, I love the kid and have been impressed with him since he became a (semi) regular. He's going to be a good one for us for sure. I don't really want him sent down due to any kind of performance, my point was just not losing Wotherspoon.

Becomes more of an issue when both are ready to come back. Could send a forward down I guess. Poitras also has to be put on the roster. Donny has to roll up his sleeves.
