4 of their goals were because our d was weak in front of the net. Need to be stronger on the sticks.

My wife's friend was in attendance last night. Her name is Boston, believe it or not! Luck was on our side!

Just finished up, good stuff! A big confidence builder. The forwards played well, created a lot of good scoring chances. They blocked 24 shots last night, always a good indicator of the outcome. Welcome back Mason Lohrei, should be safe to start looking at apartments.Hats off to all to you guys and gals who stayed up into the wee hours, will try to do the same tonight.

There was definitely plenty of good about last nights game but the meltdown in the late second and third was as bad as it gets.
Sway didn’t look good and he’s looked average or worse ever since the all star break and Ullmark hasn’t been any better. I get our D has to be better but our goalies don’t look sharp, they’ve been off their angles, not controlling rebounds and leaving loose pucks around in the crease.
I liked our forwards a lot last night, everyone seemed to have a lot more jump, even Debrusk showed up and was competing, Freddy was flying around out there causing problems for the Oilers and I really like Richard, Boqvist and Brazeau. It’s a great blend of speed and size. Brazeau is growing on me quickly, I admire guy that has gotten here taking the route that he did. He was undrafted, stints in the ECHL but obliviously a very hard working determined guy to get to this point. Great size, doesn’t appear nasty but he does use his size to gain space and win pucks. I hope he sticks.
