Other than Swayman, the 1st period and the final score, there really wasn't much to like about this one. I was glad Jake showed up !

I just told Seabass it's time to stop fucking about and begin the rebuild. This team ain't going anywhere in the post season so any moves made damn well better be for youth/picks. We've put it off long enough.

They just win enough to keep all the delusional fans thinking they are still one of the best in the league--nice win though

“You know it was such a good first period,” Montgomery said. “Let’s not do that again. Right? Remember the ‘Seinfeld’ episode, ‘Do the complete opposite?’ I said, ‘Let’s do the complete opposite.’ Keep the crowd in the game. We don’t want anyone leaving early. We succeeded.”
I am not finding this funny you assclown.

It felt less like that the Bruins finally grew some spine, clamped down and refused to let Vegas win than it felt like Vegas just ran out of time. If they had had another minute, or two left to work with, they would have scored. I see this win as nothing more than eeking one out, not truly taking control of the game and imposing your will on an opponent. Who knows? Maybe they use this as a springboard for a winning streak, but I just saw too much of the same shit creeping back into their game over and over again last night. Not to mention that Vegas was short a couple of players, one being Eichel. Would they still have managed to squeak this one out with Vegas at full strength? My money is on no. After the first period, Vegas gave them all they could handle.

What I know is coming is that these same high quality, scoring area chances coming off brutal defensive breakdowns late in the game that Swayman was saving last night, will not be saved in the playoffs and we will be out on our ass again in the first round. This team is pathetic when the other team pulls the goalie. All the proof in the world is there that whatever the fuck they are doing isn't working. They need every opposing player on the ice to make a massive blunder to even have half a shot at an empty netter with the current system and PUT THE GAME AWAY. It's too passive, they are constantly playing NOT TO LOSE, instead of baring down and playing to win. There is no killer instinct at all. It's a damn miracle we won last night. It had all the makings of a massive choke in the final 2 minutes again. Rant over! Hopefully they can get their shit together and start showing us some legitimate wins that feel like REAL wins!

Spot on, same brutal hockey but this time Sway kept that tying goal from going in. His comments are just as alarming to me, is this the kind of communication the players are getting as well. This is the NHL, he’s supposed to be a pro not a comedian. I hope the front office are doing interviews because this guy has lost it.
