I think madmarx reported Kampfer's knee injury. I just wanted to get this year's thread going.

Shitty. I guess that means Kampfer makes the team. You mean Bart? I'm not a Bart fan, hopefully we don't need to use our #7th D'man anytime soon. Maybe Mckelvie or Warsofsky can put a couple of solid months at the AHL level and push for a call up.

The injuries continue on #Habs blue line. Coach Martin tells Montreal media Chris Campoli will be out for months.

WILMINGTON, Mass. --- David Krejci left the ice today after suffering an apparent leg injury during a practice session at Ristuccia Arena. Bruins coach Claude Julien was unable to comment on the exact nature of Krejci's injury and whether it would keep the first-line skater from traveling with the team this afternoon to Raleigh, N.C. for Wednesday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. "I don't know, I can't really tell you the severity of it right now,'' Julien said after practice. "He's being looked at.'' Julien said he was not certain whether Krejci would be available to travel with the team. "If he doesn't then he'll be behind, getting checked out,'' Julien said. "I just don't know how severe it is right now."

Hope Krecji is ok and this is a cautionary move.
I kinda have a nervous feeling about it though. Bad enough to keep him home so he must have tweeked it good.

Now here's the part where you fret, Boston. Joe Haggerty of CSN New Enland reports that Krejci went down in a non-contact injury and he is looking at a problem with his knee. In Haggerty's words, the best case scenario -- best case! -- is that he's out for a couple of weeks with a knee sprain. You can probably figure out the worst case scenario, but I imagine it would have three little letters.

Claude Julien corrected my report on CSNNE.com from last night. Its a core injury rather than knee problem for David Krejci. He's day-to-day

Krejci seems to have trouble staying healthy for an entire season. I wonder if that will effect his price tag?

The players never look at it that way. The general consensus seems to be that he'll get Bergeron money.
