Lysell with 5 points past 2 games, boxscores here and one above this post..He now leads team with 9pts in 10 games after a slow start..Keep this up and we just might see another NHL debut!! theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025305That's great to see. The youth movement seems to be working out so far. I can live with the mistakes, as long as they learn from them and play exciting hockey!

Ya gotta wonder if Ullmark, or Swayman will be losing their job to this kid and probably sooner than later. My money is on the former. So far, Bussi's numbers are slightly down from last season..Never mind his record as thats more of a team thing, he's 1-2-2 with a 2.58 Gaa and a .917 save%..But he's still been great and he's nhl ready right now..IF down the road the Bruins trade a goalie, it wont be Swayman unless they get a deal they just cant turn down..Boston has several goalies coming up the pipeline, namely Reid Dyke.. theahl.com/stats/player/9087/81/brandon-bussiTo be fair, the only way I see them trading a goalie this year if if they take a significant nose dive in the standings. Right now, that doesn't look like it will happen, which I am good with.

One of those careful what you wish for , I agree if a Goalie is getting traded it would be at the deadline and we would have to be out of the playoff picture.

I bet there’s probably 10-12 teams in the league that would kill to have Ullmark at the deadline if we were inclined to do it.

Yeah, I'm not in any hurry to see a goalie, any of them, get sent out of town. But if we did slide and were looking to sell off some assets, that position is the only real one that would net any kind of solid return. And if it were Ullmark, some much needed cap space as well. So far, this team has greatly surprised me, I hope they continue to do so.

Providence win again beating a tough Hartford team 3-2..Lysell with 2 helpers and Farinacci also with 2 assists..Lysell leads team with 12pts in 13 games while Farinacci is just 2pts behind and leads team with a +9 rating..Farinacci was originally a 2019 third-round (76th overall) pick of the Arizona Coyotes, but the team failed to sign him by the August 15 deadline making him an unrestricted free agent. The rookie is off to a terrific start..Remember how we got Blake Wheeler, another centre from the Yotes!! Both Lysell and Farinacci have really played well of late..Doing ok considering Boston is ranked near the bottom in prospect pool..Poitras, Beecher, Steen and Lauko all playing with the Bruins just makes you wonder a little!! Bussi with another great night stopping 35 shots!! theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025358

Providence scored 5 goals in 2nd period and went on to a 6-3 win over Bridgeport Islanders..I wonder why Lysell didnt play last night? Is he banged up or something else? He got back to back game winners last week so he wasnt a healthy scratch.. Here is boxscore from last night theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025465

It's an upper body issue that has kept Fabian Lysell out of last 3 games, per Providence GM Evan Gold Lysell skated this morning for third day in a row and is getting close to returning to lineup

Yes sir, they're playing great right now..When Prov got off to a slow start, I remember thinking this team got just too much offence to not be scoring at a better rate,,Doing much better now..This Brazeau kid is a big body but has never played an nhl game..I wonder do he play a rugged game??

*After recording 7pt in 2 games, Georgii Merkulov has taken over the team lead in points with 21 in 24 games.. * Right winger Justin Brazeau is 25 yrs old, 6ft 5 in and tips the scales at 245 pounds..But going by his PIM, he dont seem to be physical at all, what a shame BUT he's tied with Merkulov with 8 goals and he has 16pt in 24 games..Big body for sure. * Michael Dipietro's numbers are actually better than Bussi's so far this season..I think we got him for Studnicka+..He has a 2.24 GAA and a .925 save% while Bussi has a 2.46 GAA and his save% is .921..Dipietro's record is 6-3 while Bussi is 7-4-2..Both are playing well during Pro 7 game win streak.. *Providence Player Stats... theahl.com/stats/player-stats/309/81?playertype=skater&rookie=no&sort=points&statstype=standard&page=1&league=4&position=skaters

It’s weird how hockey has changed. Drafting a 5’9” or 5’10” forward or D was almost unheard of back in the day but this size player is in every NHL lineup these days. Goaltending has gone the other way, it’s very rare to find a starting goalie on any team that’s 6’ or below. The guy in Nashville ? is an exception plus maybe 1 or 2 more. The butterfly style is the go to for almost all goalies but if you’re less than 6’2” there tends to be more room just above the shoulders and under the crossbar that skilled players can snipe on. I hope Dipietro can make the jump but I think most scouts would put their money on Bussi just because he’s 6’4”. Very unfair but I think that’s where we are these days.

Today, Beecher scored the tying goal and Lohrei scored the winner in overtime and the Baby Bruins beat Bridgeport 2-1

That's what I like about the kid. I understand him being sent back down was a numbers thing, but if nothing else, his confidence should just grow playing in the A for a stretch.

Surely was a beauty of a goal in any league, just outfoxed 2 dmen?..What Crafar said is dead on and what most of us figured was best for him..But for him to react the way he did on that goal makes you feel good for the kid cause it cant be easy being sent down after getting a taste of the nhl..But he seems to be doing just fine and thats SO great to hear!!!GO PROVIDENCE!!!!

Never forget Reid Dyck playing in the CHL..He's a big goaltender also at 6'4'' and even though his stats are not off the charts, that should be excuseable because he faces alot of shots on most nights..He just returned from injury but he could have a very bright future..Seabass has all player stats above..
