Yup. Just moved to Texas. Have ATT Uverse. They dropped the NHL channel and Center Ice. But I do get NESN, and they black out all the fucking Bruins games That's sick. I'm not sure what to expect this year out of Roger's this year. A part of me doesn't want to pay for Center Ice because I hate that deal, but to catch Bruin games you pretty much need it. I can't go back to streams because I've been spoiled. Tough call because I really, really hate Roger's. I hear you. I've had Center Ice since 2006 solely to watch the Bs. Now I can't even get ripped off by Center Ice if I want to. Fucking sucks. But maybe I'm being done a favor seeing how the Bs seem to be doing this year. Is Krejci back? Is Lucic still sucking ass?

Time for Svedberg I think. Rask is being hung out to dry.

Another PP and another 2 minutes off the clock without scoring. That seems about right.

Reading a few tweets along this line. Johnny B has two more assists tonight after 2 periods. I think that's 5 in two games.

I feel shitty for Bass. What a mess to have to sit through. Bruins should refund half the ticket price because that's all the effort they got.

They pretty much sucked from the 2nd 1/2 of 2nd period to the end!! 4 rookies 2 on Looches line & 2 on 4th line.

There's just too many of them. Kids coming up were always insulated by an experience/cohesive lineup. This time we have inexperience everywhere. Lucic looks like crap being the most seasoned veteran on his line. Soda's been great, but he really looks like he needs a finisher and Louie just isn't that guy right now. I'm in no way saying Gagne is the answer, but there's something lacking in the offense and it needs to be addressed. The PP is an obvious target, but I'm thinking the problem may be a little deeper. Still early, so no need to do anything drastic.

it is early. but you just wonder what that will force chia to do.
you dont want to make moves from weakness.
loui, i dont know what is wrong with him. he will prolly be traded.
the b's have tough games and other east teams are improved. they dont want to be in a hole come november. even in november it is bad news to be outside lookin in.

Gagne in, Fraser out and Krejci back at center. That should fix line 2. Move Spooner down to 4th line center and send Cunningham back down. Keep Fraser around for possible insertion on the 3rd line.
Louie is not going to be a finisher - time to accept it and take him for what he is - a good 3rd line winger.

Louie seems to be afraid of that he won't produce & is just making bad plays TRYING to produce. he needs to relax & play the way he can. Or just trade his useless ass! Get picks & have $$ to get a R/W that can play top 3rd line minutes!

It just goes to show how easy a good team can erode. Lucic can't hardly shoot and is afraid of contact because of an apparent bad wrist, Krejci out hurt and Iggy gone. That's all it takes, we are easier to defend because we are thin up front. Lucic will get better and Krejci will be back soon but someone has to step up and be a quality RWer for that line. Who ever shows chemistry first with Lucic and Krejci will win the first line job. I don't care if it's Eriksson, Spooner, Gagne, Pastrnak or even that Griffith kid. If none of these guys show anything PC needs to get on the phone and work a deal. Not sure of the kind of value we have to work with but Subban, Spooner and Kokho should bring back something we could use.

Alas...nothing ever happened. We kept waiting and waiting...just kept getting worse and worse. I watched Looch for extended parts of his shifts. The only time he skated hard was when he jumped off of the bench. Other than that he basically coasted around the rink. The best player out there was Kelly. He hit everything that moved and busted his ass the whole game.

I didn't see any starting line up but judging by yesterday's practice it could be interesting
Lucic/Krejci/Griffith Marchand/Bergeron/Smith Kelly/Soda/Eriksson Paille/Spooner/Caron
I'm surprised I haven't heard any talk about getting Bart in for a game.
Does "Sveddy balls" go today?

So now a player like Green sees the green light to hit Lucic (from behind, a hit normally penalized, whatever). Clean, dirty or in the middle, it doesn't matter.
It's open season to hit Lucic in any way (low bridge, from behind, etc) because others know he'll either lose his cool; mug them and get a penalty; or slash them and get a suspension. The bigger issue is players who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paperbag have no qualms about hitting one of the league's most feared players. But inevitably, Green got Lucic to lose it, so mission accomplished.
This isn't the first time. And Lucic still won't take a name and put them into the second row at another time. All we see from him are temper tantrums, muggings with gloves on, slashes that get him dinged a game and threats in handshake lines. The maturity to control himself and dish out payback at a more opportune moment still isn't showing itself.
Maybe Lucic can't fight now because of his wrist, but he can hit. And if the wrist is too weak to shoot a puck, fight or hit - then why is he playing?
This is just the first signs you will see that the Bruins are less of a threat and more open to BS without a Thornton type patrolling the 4th line. No disrespect to Robbins, but he's an AHL level pug. Leafs are trying a softer approach too, and now Reimer is already out after a cheap headshot by Moore.
