At 1-3, this now turns into a must win game. The Bruins can't afford to get behind the 8 ball before the season even starts.

If we drop this one it'll be very difficult going into Hab land the following night and get a win on the Habs home opener. We better win or we could be 1-5 before we know it.

I can finally watch all the games legally, sort of, online. I set up and monitor my parents internet account, so thanks to Rogers giving anybody with their internet access to the NHL, I have access!
I watched the 3rd period of the last game. They didn't look too bad. Lucic looked better than previously, although I think I could have looked better than him and I can barley skate. I think the Bruins dig deep and win this one.

We're averaging a goal a game so far. Rask better stand on his head. 1st game of the season when Bruins went on a scoring spree and beat Philly 2-1, the game was covered by NBC and their broadcasters {Neutral} were talking about how many times this year the Bruins had to play the Scabs after playing night before. They were saying how unfair it was..

Time for the boys to put their big boy panties on and kick some ass. The B's have not won in Detroit since 2007.

Hopefully they get a win, but then they don't think the pressure is off now and take it easy vs MTL. Speaking of MTL, will Lucic be able to keep his promise of last season to pulverize his handshake line buddy (Emelin?) with a bad wrist? Assuming Lucic is awake of course.
And make no mistake, Emelin and the rest of the MTL sneaky douchebags will be running at Lucic, chirping, slashing, trying to make Lucic lose his cool.

good, hate the kindler gentler game P.C. is pushing. I like the old style Bruin game.

Can't wait for the MTL GDT. The MTL game is where you want a Thornton type involved in. If Chiarelli isn't second thoughting his softer approach or some of his more questionable moves, he will be by Monday should MTL and BUFF push the Bruins around with little or no response.

Yet another opportunity against a speedy, talented puck possession team who won't engage in the physical stuff. This is now becoming the rule more so than the exception. In order to go a long way in the spring you have to be able be successful against this type of play. Tonight's a good time to start. Wings only have played twice so far. 4-2 Bs.

I feel bad heading into this back to back, but it's times like this that they have pulled their heads out of their asses in the past and dominate. They better do something positive soon, you don't wanna get too far back in the era of the 3 point games. I'm not saying the Bruins won't make the playoffs, but you don't want them using up all the tricks before the post season just trying to get a favorable matchup.

It seems that Babcock had Juliens number in the last game. D really stuffed forwards at the Blue Line. Hopefully the B's can punch through and have good possession tonight...

WTF is with the penalties. Z gets Xchecked right in front of Wings net no call. Soda was the only ONE in that scrum? Looch took a swipe BUT c'mon there has been alot more obvious infractions that haven't been called

I gotta say that I do not like the d pairing of Krug and Miller. They just do not look good. Miller is too slow and Krug only thinks about offense.

I do not like Krejci up high on the umbrella. He just does not have that great of a shot. I would rather see him on the half wall making passes. Trying to feed Bergeron in the slot just does not work. Put him where Stamkos/Ovechkin play for the one timer.
