Just woke up from a weird dream where Connolly scored a game winner. I gotta cut back on the scotch!

Nice tip by Connolly for the game winner, hopefully this can get him going and on the score sheet. I haven't minded his game with Marchand/Bergeron. He is working hard, he's fast, throws the body and does a lot of dirty work a long the wall.

Totally agree he has surprised Me with how physical his game is, I think if he keeps things simple and not force the play sometimes he would get better results ..

Connolly is working a lot harder and is much more determined than he was when he first went into the fans' doghouse. Maybe he has figured it out.

I think this was Pasta's best game the year. He wasn't losing the board battles and he was carrying the puck with confidence despite the fact that his centerman was totally out to lunch. I would like to see Spooner/Pasta back together to see if they can recapture last years chemistry. maybe stick Loui on the left side to help them in the d-zone. Bergie/March/Conn Spoon/Loui/Pasta krej/Beles/Hayes or Ferr Rinal/Talbot/Rand or Ferr

I totally agree TBM..I don't think Connolly shows a pile of talent, not that he don't have it hidden away somewhere, but he's using his body well and just maybe the talent will show with more consistant hard work.

Right on Donny. That's why I said with consistant hard work, his talent should be more obvious!!

I think Connolly has something but it might never come out at the NHL level. I give him credit, TBay gave up him, being drafted 6th overall at this point is a distant memory and now it seems like he's just trying to find a way to stay in the league. Instead of just going to scoring areas he is doing the dirty work down low and trying to have a positive impact on his line. I honestly don't think it's easy to play with Bergy and Marchand, they are a duo and Connolly is there to help but not get in the way. Hopefully he sticks with that line, works his ass off and get's better and better with every game.
