And lost in all of this is will be this team dropping yet another turd at home...and to more, or less seal the deal? A delay of game penalty. Yippee. Yep Habs killing themselves and we're staying them .. When you play a big Western team dress heavier players ??

This games really shows how we stack up against big teams. If we make the playoffs great but all moves around the trade deadline should be about the future and not at all about this season.

Picked a bad night not to have any muscle, Stewart should have been dealt with first chance. This is how's it's been all year, not surprising.

so much for being tough to play against. At least we didn't spend money to go see the game live. Any one know why they don't show Neely during the game anymore?

I'd love to see him....with steam coming out his ears. But I don't feel quite so bad about this loss. We weren't the only team that started holidays early. That being said maybe the sour taste of defeat will work on the heads during this break and they'll come back full of piss and vinegar. Here's hoping anyway. Hope gus is okay.

Was at the bar for my Pool league last night. Had the game on, but after the 1st they switched over to the Leafs. I guess I'm kinda glad now.
WTF is going on with home games this year? Does CJ need to segregate the team in a hotel the night before? It's like the year they moved into the new building and couldn't do a damn thing right unless they were on the road.

good idea not to have a tough guy lmao. Odd time to do that? Ducks are a big team that will take it to you. Don't think the Steward - Krug fight had anything to do with the final score. Credit to Krug but that's not something you can have happen. Certainly the 2011 Bruins would not have let it stand.

But here we call it the CPA, but we're part of the APA and we still get a crack at that free trip to Vegas every year. Are you in the APA?

Are you in the APA? well, long story. ive played pool since i was a youngin. i used to hustle playing 9 ball where the 3 and 6 were a dollar and the 9 was worth 2 dollars. i played in tourneys all the time and was in pool leagues when i was a teenager. we played for money on the weekend. it was great times. anyway...yes i played one season in the APA. i had my own pool sticks and everything....i hated it with a passion. my rating was a six and i hardly ever played.my captain wanted me to lose matches so i could drop down to a five...who tries to lose? the suck ass players got to play b/c of their low rating. i would hang around some nights all night and our captain would be like ..i cant play you tonight. so im really good at pool but i couldnt play b/c of it.....fuck the APA. i sold my sticks and dont play hardly at all anymore. i still have it tho. its like riding a bike. do you like it?

I used to play a lot in high school- we had a 90 minute lunch, so I was down at the pool hall every day. After that, I only ever played in bars for beers. When I had my heart attack in '13 I couldn't play hockey, so I picked up pool. Couldn't go back to hockey when my hip screwed up, so I've been playing CPA for 3 years now. Was playing 8 ball on night, 9 ball the next. I'm captain of my team now and we joined a double jeopardy league- that means that when we go to play on Tuesdays, we have 2 tables going- one for 8 ball, one for 9 ball. That gives 10 matches for my team of 8 players. EVERYBODY PLAYS at least once a night- some play twice. I hated travelling 20 miles to the bar and not playing, so that's not an issue anymore. And it only takes up one night a week instead of two. Overall, the people in the league are good to play with. You've still got some sandbaggers playing to lose, but I just can't understand getting enjoyment out of playing that way. I started as a 3, moved up to a 4 but I win about 66% of my matches so I'll probably be a 5 before too long. Our team rankings are 6/5/4/4/3/2/1/1 so we can play anyone at anytime. Half of our team is beginners and they are just loving it too. If I ever get this team on a road trip for a tourney it'll be like Fear and Loathing - at least the boozing part! haha I enjoy it, and when I get back to playing hockey this fall (after a 3 year hiatus), I'll definitely keep up the CPA. Having a blast.

I played pool all my life and still play the occasional game. Me and my partner once played a group of 32 and finished 1st..That wasn't yesterday but it's an awesome game..
