I think we're fortunate for this game to be still tied up. Hopefully we pick it up here in the second. Well shots are close, faceoffs 50/50 but the difference is: once again, we're being badly outhit. we have oue tough guys in lineup, have Quaider back and still outhit 21-12, unacceptable,,too many games come down to who wins those battles and right now, we're not..Man, some of those guys are wicket fast!! I still hate Hartnell!

Philly up 2-1 on Jersey, Tampa/Sharks 2-2...Devils are my surprise team so far..Goes to show how far a good goaltender can take you..I wish we could separate a little from 9th place..It seems no matter how much we win, we cant get past a 3 point cushion!!

Very big 2 points, guaranteeing at least a .500 seasonal road record with their 19th win and at least 3-3 on road trip. Really too bad they couldn't take a point from Detroit.. Jersey lost to Flyers so that's good news and Sharks beating Tampa 3-2 with 7 left..Think I'll finish watching that one. Regardless of where Jackets are in the standings, they were 6-2-2 past 10 and riding a very hot goaltender. Get outta Dodge and move on to next game. GO BRUINS BIG 2 POINTS TONIGHT

Gutsy grind it out win against a big team who had been playing well. Quaider made his presence felt....in more ways than one. Thank you Tuukka.

How things have changed comparing Eastern Conference to West. Bruins are 10 points ahead of 9th place in the West while only 4 points up on 9th in the East..

Dammit, I love Loui as a player but Bruins plain and simple cannot afford him and I cant see anyone giving a 31 year old Eriksson a 6 year deal at that kind of money.. I know he's having a great year, 2 goals away from matching his exact stats from all last season. Plain and simple, with the state of our defence, we cant afford him. I often wonder what Morrow would be like if he played a full season. He shows flashes of talent, then gets sent down. I pity the guy!! But making the playoffs is top priority for B's management!!

Louie says show me the money Louie has now scored in 5 straight games. 6 out of 7 games! Loui keeps driving up his value. Not just for resigning, but perhaps more importantly he is driving up his value on the trade market. He is a great asset to have, but the key to succeeding in the salary cap world is to roll over an asset like that into younger cheaper ones at THE RIGHT TIME. Sweeney... here's hoping that you're up for the challenge!

He did some good stuff over the summer but he did some questionable stuff as well. McQuaid contract, Dougie trade and the 3rd for Rinaldo.

He did some good stuff over the summer but he did some questionable stuff as well. McQuaid contract, Dougie trade and the 3rd for Rinaldo. Mcquaid was overpaid but he had to stay, Dougie had to go because apparently he wasn't signing in Boston and he's good, just not as good as hid price tag. Sweeney was left in a tough position but the Bruins are as good or better than last season. I still think they'll keep Loui around unfortunately if I'm right. What should we expect for Loui?? He's still only a rental so the best I expect is a 2nd rounder..

Here is the deal Sweeney makes ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Loui + Chara to Ducks Fowler + Ritchie + 2nd to Bs Ducks time is now anf they have Cap space to make it work. Chara gives them shut down D plus Ericson for Second line scoring. Bs get young top tier defenseman plus young power forward that screams Bruin.
