Backes should retire because apparently he lost a fight. What about Bruins 1st game in which he had a Gordie Howe Hat trick with a fight, 2 goals and an assist??? Never heard any complaints or "He should retire" after that game!! He's trying to make his presence known on his new team and I love what I've seen so far!!

Sorry, cant agree with your feelings on Beleskey. He was one of my Fav Bruins last season, was top 6 in hits, so he brought a physical game with him..He had 260 hits in 80 games. That's 3.25 hits per game..This season he only has 3 hits in 2 games. Yes he only had 15 goals and 37 points but we got him and I love his physical play, especially because he rarely gets a penalty doing his thing..Points wise, his 1st season in Boston was the most points he ever had.. I really don't think he belongs in the same sentence as Hayes, no comparison at all, BUT just my opinion..He'll get better as the season progresses.. I respect your opinion nfld77. What I mean by that is I think Beleskey can compliment a line with two other skilled players with his energy and physical play. I don't really think he has much skill and when lined up with a raw rookie Czanik and Hayes I don't think we're going to get much out of him. Maybe I shouldn't have put him in the same sentence as Hayes (72 19 16 35) but Beleskey's (65 22 10 32) numbers were very similar in the year prior to them coming to the Bruins. Maybe they should try to put Beleskey on the right side with Marchand and Begeron. He can go create havoc while those two get creative. My bad partner. I now see what you mean and it makes perfect sense. You're right when you say MB has little skill, he has little to none. His game is in the corners or dirty areas and every team need a grinder like him.
