I doubt if one goal will hold up for the win. Bruin's leading 1-0 but against Lehner and the Sabres, you expect more than 1 goal after two. But if we do win this game by a 1-0 score, don't expect any significant changes in the line up. Of course with Beleskey out, things are forced to change a little. Hope he's ok and don't miss a pile of time. What do you guys think of Blidh?? To me, for his 1st game, he's looking pretty good. He's leading Bruins in shots with 3 in only 7 minutes..Might be the end of Hayes if he continues to play like he has.. Any call up from the farm would be better than Hayes but yes he has looked just fine to me at least he is working hard and not shying away from contact Exactly and Randell is overdue as Madmarx pointed out. But he played a few games last season, scored 4-5 goals and they still sent him back down.. |

Tuukku on top of his game again today..He's been unbelieveable!! There you ruined that lol 35 saves and the win ties him for most wins in league with 13, tied with a couple. But he was amazing again and barely missed another shutout AGAIN..Nice win boys..Next game is home to the panthers. Now we're just 1 point out of 2nd in division and just 5 points out of 1st. I cant believe how good the defence is playing. Especially without Chara and Liles. If this continues after Chara returns, I would try to trade Mcquaid and Liles. Blidh certainly deserves another look at home Monday but with Julien, you just never know. He might send him back down and put Hayes back there. Seriously, here's a rookie that's playing his first nhl game and in my opinion he played better than ANY game Hayes played this season. Is this the end of Hayes time in Boston?? |

We already beat them twice this season already. But Panthers are playing better of late, 6-3-1 past 10. Bruins are playing much better also taking 7 of a possible 8 points last 4 {3-0-1} |

Just finished watching, good game for the most part, Rask was great and the Sabres are a much better team than the last time we played them. I'm predicting the Sabres will move up in our division big time if they stay healthy. Still don't like our line combinations. Now take the two points and get home and get much needed rest  |

Well what can I say. Little sloppy at times. New guy didn't look out of place at all. He made some smart plays. Tuukka was super pissed after buffalo scored. It went in over his shoulder but what ya gonna do? I'll post some pics Monday after I download camera on work computer. Didn't use my phone for pics. But got some nice ones. And stuck my arm into the tunnel at the end and they all gave me hand slap. Im never washing it again lol. Most of the people around us were Bruins fans it was great. More later... |

told you blidh is a good player. although he is not going to be a scorer...the bruins have a lot of good players...but they lack the talented scorers. yet they continue to put up points. tuukka time.

After last Tuesday's game against Philly, I said by looking at the schedule, it was a great time for the Bruins to make some hay, move up the standings. Well they have taken 7 of a possible 8 points..From now til next Saturday we have Florida, Colorado and Toronto at home and a game @ Washington. I'd be satisfied with 5 out of 8 points meaning if we can go 2-1-1, that would be pretty darn good considering the games bunched together. Maybe they should bring up a couple extra players to give some a break. Heinen would fit in nicely and likely Chara is back, maybe as early as next game vs Panthers Monday. Boston still not scoring. Past 3 games, they scored 2 goals in each game, BUT because of great goaltending and an absolute solid defence, they still went 2-0-1 and 3-0-1 past 4 games. So yes, we have a little 4 game point streak going regardless of a continued poor offence. Although we are tied for 6th in the conference, 9th place team also has 29 pts and 10th place has ONE point less than Bruins. But we're in the mix thanks to Rask and our D. NEVER thought I'd be saying that in December. So if we're winning games by scoring just 2 goals, how good will Boston be if the offence decides to kick in?? I think they could very well be a scary team if they figure it out. Vatrano returning will help but Blidh played so well last night, it would be tough knowing who sits as Hayes is sitting for Blidh. Knowing Julien I bet he sits Spooner when Frankie returns and if things are the same as they are now..Be curious to see what happens. NOW is the time for Boston to keep it going this week. Perfect time to distance themselves from the pack. |
