We played hard, had plenty of scoring chances, not just our token perimeter shots tonight. The effort was there it's just disappointing to come away with nothing. The Preds played a hard hitting game, I'm happy at least McQuaid and Blidt took their pound of flesh even though I wish no long term harm on Jossi or Grant. TSN is wondering if there may be supplemental discipline coming for Blidh.

did not see this game but saw the highlights. what a great fight. did you see that guy had rubber legs when he got up.
and the blidh hit looked good to me. i guess hockey is not rough anymore. too bad these rules were not in place when marc savards career was ended.

Haggs - Tuukka Rask walked out of Nashville rink on his own postgame just now and said "I'm going to be okay", for what it's worth

Torey Krug: "Overall we played well, but at this point in the season we're kind of sick of moral victories. We want results" Thank you. Exactly how I felt after last night. Getting sick of hearing the whole, 'we played well, were the better team, felt we deserved a better fate' line. The anemic offense is what is going to assure this team misses the playoffs again, of that I am convinces.

Would think it's just time to make a move in the standings. But if the shoe fits...

I guarantee you that is because the ref saw his head snap back. Assumed it was a head shot. It was a late hit, easily a penalty but I don't think it deserves any more on top of what he already got. TSN hates the Bruins anyway so I wouldn't even consider their stupidity valid for the most part.

Call me an optimist but I'm convinced this team makes the playoffs and either wins a round or gives a team all they can handle.

Call me an optimist but I'm convinced this team makes the playoffs and either wins a round or gives a team all they can handle. I want to feel that way NF but when we come back home and play our usual lack luster home game my optimism goes out the window. If we win tomorrow and bring our home record back to .500 that would be a good start, not to mention great for the season ticket holders.

Without a doubt Kjc, the Bruins HAVE to get their act together at home. If they finish .500 or worst at home, they'll never make the postseason. Yet when they play on the road, they're a good confident team who can beat practically anyone. They really played well against the Blues and although they lost 2-1 last night, they deserved 2 points, minimum a point.
But the question begs for an answer. WHAT is the problem playing home in front of your dedicated fans?? All season it's been either a game under or .500. If the problem is home to a lot of those young players or even veterans, you would think that would be settled by now. Those guys are playing their lifelong dream, to play in the NHL. And if 18,000 screaming fans don't bring out your adrenaline, what does?? Ok, we're back home between the sheets again,lol..
Whats separating this team from being a top 4 team in their conference is their home record. As of tonight, they played 19 at home and 26 on the road. Normally, that's a real good thing. But unless they take advantage of home territory, it's a disadvantage..If the Bruins can take care of business at home, they're a playoff team. If not, they're not...
Now lets get this started by beating Philly tomorrow evening and take it from there. 31 of their 49 points have come on the road.
