Cant believe this is yet another Bruin game on all sportsnet stations. I often wonder why I spent $200 to get Centerice. I wont be getting it next season.
The Bruins HAVE to get their act together at home. If they finish .500 or worst at home, they'll never make the postseason. Yet when they play on the road, they're a good confident team who can beat practically anyone. They really played well against the Blues and although they lost 2-1 last night, they deserved 2 points, minimum a point.
But the question begs for an answer. WHAT is the problem playing home in front of your dedicated fans?? All season it's been either a game under or .500. If the problem is home to a lot of those young players or even veterans, you would think that would be settled by now. Those guys are playing their lifelong dream, to play in the NHL. And if 18,000 screaming fans don't bring out your adrenaline, what does?? Ok, we're back home between the sheets again,lol..
Whats separating this team from being a top 4 team in their conference is their home record. As of tonight, they played 19 at home and 26 on the road. Normally, that's a real good thing. But unless they take advantage of home territory, it's a disadvantage..If the Bruins can take care of business at home, they're a playoff team. If not, they're not...
Now lets get this started by beating Philly tomorrow evening and take it from there. 31 of their 49 points have come on the road. Come on guys, lets go on a tear on home ice. Give your fans something to cheer about. You know damn well you're better than a .500 team at home. Get out there and prove it!!!

I expect Michal Neuvirth will man the pipes for Philly. He relieved Mason and stopped all 14 shots he faced for the 5-4 OT win. Mason as really been bad of late, a big reason why that big winning streak stopped and maybe a big reason why it began. But of late he's really been bad.
Neuvirth has a 3.18 and .876 save%..No reason why Bruins don't score 4/5 goals. But knowing Bruins, Mason will play and shootout the Bruins 3-0..They ARE playing at home.

In the last 4 seasons Marchand has 12 PP goals, 13 SH goals.
Brad Marchand is third all-time in Bruins history with 21 shorthanded goals. Only Rick Middleton (25) and Derek Sanderson (24) have more.
Marchand has as many assists (23) in 46 games this season as he did in 77 games last year. Career high is 28 in 2013-14 (82 games)
