Anyone else watch this "trash" besides me? Hey I love the story lines, and the women are beautiful. (love Mickie James and Torrie Wilson) Why wouldn't I watch? Anyways, any thought on Y2J? Undertaker? HHH? Edge? Royal Rumble, Armegedon?

I miss 80s wrestling. Silly sometimes, but always fun.
Remember when a DDT was a finishing move? Now they do it, and it has no more effect than a reverse knife edge.
And now, everybody is a dark demin wearing rebel using goth grunge theme music who plays by their own rules - and everybody is shades or grey when it comes to being a heel or a good guy. Too much the same.
Nothing would please me more than seeing the WWE and Vince McMahon out of business for peddling a shitty product.

been losing interest since the Rock and Stone Cold left.
the women wrestlers keep it interesting. even tho their matches last about 30 seconds.
i need some stratusfaction.

Early 80s wrestling was less of a freak show....more "believable". The Von Erics, the 4-horsemen, the early days of the Hulk, Jake the Snake...and so on. Back then they were more personalities....today they are more like cartoon characters.

You knew it was a living cartoon, and early 80's wrestling had it down to a science. Remember watching Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC?
Now everybody's a wannabe badass, shades of grey rebel. I just sucks.

Saturday Night's main event was the shit back then - The long story line buildups to a great fight. It was almost like soaps for men. Now the storylines change from week to week so unless you're living in your moms basement, watching TV till 3 AM, it's too hard to follow. Worst of all, hardly any wrestlers have a good angle anymore.

Yeah but you can always rehash a good angle (but with different players) and have suckers buy into it. Just look at Hollywood these days - A-team, Karate Kid, the Michael Jackson documentary - you'd think it was 1985 all over again. I also remember the WWF cartoon. Sadly, Saturday morning also sucks these days too.

Sadly, Saturday morning also sucks these days too. You need to have the right guys to do it. The guys they had were both physically able to do it, but they have the personality to do it too. Right up to Steve Austin and the Rock. Now these guys have the physical attributes but I would rather stab myself in the ear than listen to them talk.

WWE announcers suck too. There was no topping Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse the Body Ventura calling the matches.
Kind of like going from Fred and Derek (or Bob Wilson) all the way down to Jack Edwards or Dale Arnold.
