Ullmark in tonight BUT Swayman has best goals against avg in league, actually tied with Rags Russian goalie with a 1.95 GAA..Name a rookie more valuable than him to his team?? BUT right move is going with Linus tonight, he was good his last game and I expect him to be good tonight..
Predicted score..4-2 Bruins

Not a very sharp first period. Lots of mistakes.

I started watching just before the Foligno goal. Looks like a different team tonight, fatigue has set in and mostly between the ears.

I watched two periods and went to sleep. I recorded the stupid game but the game never ends within the scheduled recording time and if I forgot to extend it.
I never saw the late penalty but of course I caught the Ducks winning goal on the highlight reel.
Bottom line is the Bruins never had their game but they were battling and if Swayman was in we win that game. Linus sucks!

I watched the first period and then went to bed. Looking at the highlights today, it seems that Ullmark actually settled in pretty good the rest of the way and made some decent saves. He was really kicking out juicy rebounds during the first period.
I couldn't find any highlights of the late penalty so I am assuming it was ticky tac but you never know, maybe someone got hauled down pretty good and we deserved it!

Ticy Tack call one of those hooking calls where a guy tries to lift the stick. The bigger issue was the bonehead turnover by Smith that lead to the sequence that resulted in the penalty being called.

The turnovers were terrible last night. Forbort with the brutal clearing attempt on the first goal. Marchand with a really bad turnover inside our blue line that led to the 2nd goal. We were really fighting it hard last night. I think fatigue for sure had set in.

I thought Smitty was terrible all night along with Forbort..Linus not to blame BUT Swayman may have pulled out a win or at least got us a pt..

I just think that the two games in less then 24 hours and with the sheer amount of games the team has played since January that they were just gassed. They will have off nights and looks like last night was one.
I did not even get to finish the LA game as the power went off so I just went to bed

There’s a line between not the blame for the loss and not playing well enough to win. None of the goals were soft, there was plenty of blame to go around on the D and forwards coughing up turnovers but the rebound control, inability to track pucks and not getting the proper reads just causes so many problems that lead to goals.
I get he was screened on the winning goal but (and I’m asking here) do you move so far to the left or right to see that you leave half the net wide open?
I definitely have zero confidence in the guy but I can easily change my mind if he would just clean up some of the stuff I mentioned and give us some clutch games.
He does have a snappy out let pass and is better than Swayman in that area but that’s where it ends with me.
