Pasta is out, not sure on Hampus. Pasta seemed to be playing through a core injury for almost a month, seems to me they should have addressed it before that hit took him out. We need them both back for game 1 or we’re screwed.

Ullmark starting. I think we see him get the next stretch of 3 games minimum. I love Swayman but I think the brass wants to see Ullmark earn that contract and be the playoff starter.

A lot on the line tonight. Bolts on 2 game skid, no McDonagh. 👊 Need a good smart road effort. Ully’s gotta come up big. Heads up out there.

The Refs have a home team slant or maybe an anti Bruins slant whatever again tonight.

Just tuning in now for the 3rd period. Saw the Debrusk goal. Cashed in nicely there on the turnover!

I could literally smash my remote through the TV when we spend this much time in our own end!

I’m happy for the win obviously but I really don’t like our defensive strategy of taking away the middle and allowing Tampa to possess the puck on the perimeter for very long stretches of time. We survived it last night due to excellent goaltending and good fortune. That’s not a recipe for success in my opinion. Most likely TBay won’t be our first round matchup anyway but it’s a possibility.

We survived it last night due to excellent goaltending and good fortune. That’s not a recipe for success in my opinion. Most likely TBay won’t be our first round matchup anyway but it’s a possibility. Also, as long as I’m acting like an armchair coach here’s another thing I don’t like. The drop pass on the power-play! WTF is up with that? I understand what it’s supposed to accomplish and 90% of NHL teams use it but it’s not fooling anybody. On the rare occasion when it’s executed perfectly you might create a perfect zone entry or scoring chance. When we do it it’s a lazy drop pass sometimes so deep in our own zone it’s laughable, the defending team has all the time in the world to adjust. Also the fact that players feel like they have to try it every time makes no sense because there’s no element of surprise at all. We have three players on the first pp that should be given the puck to gain the zone. McAvoy, Marchand or Bergeron. Pasta and Hall are a big no for me, they always try to beat two or three people first before they figure out their next step and it rarely works. Grz is pretty decent on entries as well.

I said that I don't like/get the drop pass on PP maybe on Bruins on FB. Some guy jumped all over me that it was "about coming W/Speed" I just let it go. I also hate the dump in on PP ,the defending team usually %90 retrieves the puck "Sends it Down the river"

Debrusk has been using the body way more during this stretch. If he chickens out like he usually had been, Coyle doesn't get that OT goal. Big time credit to Debrusk for growing a pair!!

When Jake was moved from 4th line duties to 1st line, I certainly did NOT expect this..DeBrusk is beginning to show why he was drafted in 1st rd 2015..His game now compared to before he moved up to top line is practically day and night, he's been so damn good and Charlie Coyle is also coming into his own..Is there a player in the league stronger on the puck than him?? Debrusk and Coyle will have a big say in how far this team goes in the playoffs..
