Lohrei and Lysell could be huge pieces for the Bruins going forward but besides those 2 there's not much to get excited about..Maybe Beecher or the young Russian Georgi Merkulov surprises us..Lohrei will return to OSU for his sophomore season so he's at minimun a season away and likely Lysell will need time in Providence unless they return him to Jr's..But somewhere down the road, those 2 at least gives us something to look ahead too..

Who knows...maybe they will have a coach by then. This camp happens the same time every year. Maybe DS wil run it. Chris Kelly is still around too.

Don't expect to see 2nd rounder Mason Lohrei of Ohio State on ice at Bruins development camp. Injured Feb. 11, missed final 6 games, followed by knee surgery. Should be ready for start of season, according to Brian Bartlett, Lohrei's adviser

Of the 12 defensemen at Bruins development camp, 10 are 6-foot-2 or taller.

Brett Harrison is the kid I’m curious about, understanding he’s still Young . Me too. Heard and read a lot of good things about him. Watched quite a few Gens game last year and Harrison was mostly Meh in the games I watched. Kinda reminds me of Kessel in that when on the offence he looks very energetic and dangerous. When it comes to the backcheck his head goes down and it looks like he is skating in quicksand. Has a good shot and is a decent playmaker but did not appear to have a great engine. Maybe he was out of shape after missing so much hockey.

Wow, not a good report considering you seen him play several times..Hopefully his game has improved since last time you saw him play..OR did you see him play recently?? LOVE getting those opinions on fans who have actually seen them play compared to someone like myself who only has numbers to go by..Thanks for input BN!!

Didn't see him play live but on the Rogers Community Channel in Durham region. They carry all of the Generals games. Last game I watched was in the Playoffs this year. Talented player but just doesn't look to have a great two way game. Also noticed that he would extend his shifts somewhat and get caught out there tired. That said He was one of the top players on the team along with Ty Tulio (Edmonton draft pick). The Kid I really enjoy watching on that team was Callum Ritchie. He is draft eligible in 23. Good size, skill and can really motor. Maybe watching Bergie for the last 17 years has set expectations from fans that most players will never reach.

I really liked this in particular from the article: Gallagher has also taken notes on fellow Boston University Terrier, Charlie McAvoy. "I try to model my game after McAvoy," said Gallagher. "It's hard to be as good as him but he's a BU guy and just the way he carries himself around the rink and around Boston is great." The Michigan native added that he thinks he fits right in to the Bruins organization with his winning mentality and penchant for hard work. "I'd like the fans to know that I'm a hard worker and I'm going to do what it takes to be successful," sad Gallagher. "And I like to win, I'm a competitive guy."

Yea, I liked that too..I know he's a 7th rd pick and probably never make the big show BUT I got a feeling he'll do his damnest and I love his attitude, seems to say all the right things!!
