Play more like they did in game one and less like they did last night and to end the season. I was going to say last night that it looked like 'the switch' got flipped back off after the 1st period last night. They scored first and more, or less, went back to bed. |

I actually did say it was going to be 4 straight in my predictions, but I think we all know plain as day that there was a little bit of "wishful thinking" going on there...haha! Looks like we are in a total dog fight again! Need to take the crowd out of it early! I think we are going 7 games now! |

What lineup changes would you guys look at? I am not sold on Maroon being in the lineup - he seems pretty slow and it's not him scoring on the PP. I imagine JVR would be hungry to get back in there and would maybe look at giving him a shot.
Sway gets the net obviously and if he wins again in spectacular fashion, I think he should play again for Game 4. I get the rotation thing but when the chips were down, Matthews made the big play and Ullmark didn't in Game 2. Ullmark made some great saves no doubt about it but if the team looks better with Sway in there, then just go with Sway!

Interesting comment the other night by Jake Allen saying Swayman might be the best Goalie in the league on his edges . |

I need a lot more from McAvoy didn’t like his game last night Agreed. We all know what he is capable of. He can take a game over. He can run over just about anyone with a big hit. I think he can really set the tone and I didn't feel like he did that last night. I am totally with you - I want him taking a run at Matthews on that play instead of trying to catch the puck! Pick your battles and take the body every chance you get on their stars! |

I’d like to see Brazeau back in but I assume that will happen when he’s ready to go. Yeah JVR would be worth it for game 3, he has good instincts in tight and big and clever enough to win board battles. Also well done on your Sway opinion without taking anything away from Ullmark who really did play well and I’m totally in agreement. |

Listening to Adam Oates yesterday take on playoff series stating game one and game three are the most important in any playoff series, the nervous energy is really hard to contain.
Scoring first score often and stay out of the box .

Gotta dig down deep for a big road game effort tonight. IMPERATIVE that they start on time and for 60 minutes. Might want to keep Maroon in the lineup for this one. Lohrei might help out better offensively but an awful big ask for the yute. The best players have to show up and make a difference.

I was actually thinking that they could bring in Wortherspoon and Lohrei but with Shatty being scratched. Not a fan of JVR coming in for Lauko. Now you have Maroon and JVR that are slower than fuck which does not help the forecheck.

Was Matt Grzelyk scratched either game this season for another Dman?? I cant seem to recall it ever happening as much as we may of wanted it...The timing is what screws me up. We're into game 3 of the playoffs, we lose a Dman in Peeke to injury so we sit another regular and bring in a rookie who has yet to play in a playoff game and Wotherspoon who I believe we all wanted in there..WHY sit Grz now when you never done it all season?? I like the move but dont understand it at all..

Seems like a panic move we just needed to replace Peeke we played good in the first game , the second one was effort and losing a D Man . Toronto is a very fast team Lauko drew a few penalties with his hustle gonna miss that .
