My girlfriend is a Habs fan. Needless to say it's been a fun few years for me. Dude....don't you remember? I showed my gf this commercial and we both laughed hysterically. I know, I know, I shouldn't date within the divison but literally....she's so pretty.

Go Figure, Sabres score 7 in beating Bruins and lose 6-1 to the Habbies? ? I knew those bums would choke after blowing their wad vs. The bs. The bruins better take care of. Dougie. They cant let teams like lindys sabres elbow him in the head

Seen that very poor Officiating in Hockey right now , similar to last nights game . An absolutely horrendous call. They can't be calling those game in and game out. That is embarrassing and totally changes games. The goal on Rask shouldn't have been waved off last night. Contact outside the crease is going to happen. The one on Price today was brutal. PRICE skated into the Ottawa player and it had absolutely no effect on Price's ability to make the save. AND it was outside the crease too. I think the worst part is that Montreal got a PP out of it too, they gave the Ottawa player a penalty for interference...

Did Chara destroy Scott In a fight when he was with the Hawks?

Paros did pretty good. He kept his feet during the initial barrage from Scott. I think Scott once nearly KO'd Paros a couple years ago.

"a tough team is not just fighting and hitting, a tough team comes back from being down during times in a game" --thomas vanek. so how do you describe a team that beats one of the best in conference/league and then drops two over the weekend to lesser teams..? tough?

Montreal and Buffalo save their best games for when they face Boston. So any match up is not a lock for Boston - even if Boston is the better team.

Did Chara destroy Scott In a fight when he was with the Hawks? Your thinking of the fight He had with David Koci , He has never fought Scott. www.hockeyfights.com/fights/37257

Scott and Thornton almost went once when Scott was a Ranger. But another fight erupted between two others and it never went down.

The only Player that should drop them with Scott on the Bruins is Chara ..

The only Player that should drop them with Scott on the Bruins is Chara .. Even then it is just such a terrible tradeoff and to risk Chara being hurt (whether it be a self-inflicted broken hand, or from a punch from Scott) just isn't worth it. I agree size wise that the only person that it makes sense to fight Scott is Chara but our #1 d-men traded off for 5 minutes for John Scott who plays 3 and a half minutes a game is just not a good tradeoff...

Agree about the trade off part, Chara as Captain needs to step up for his team mates when required against the Sabres would have been a good time ..

Chara vs Scott is interesting.
On one hand, Chara stepping up sends a huge message to the Sabres and to the other Bruins. This would be Terry O'Reilly 101.
But on the other hand ...you'll be exchaging our best D man for a cement head for 5 mins... AND there is a chance Chara could lose. His balance isn't great in fights at times and he sometimes looked very awkward in some of his bouts.
They say just showing up shows something, but I'd hate to see Chara fall down and get socked in the process

I think Chara should step up if the situation presents itself. Losing is a possibility and getting beat bad could affect Chara profoundly. Chara has had a bit rep for being the big guy on the block for years, I'm just thinking about what happened to Komosarek when Looch destroyed him. He was never the same or Stan Jonathon's beat down on Pierre Bouchard. Or maybe that's just about Bruin #17s beating up Hab D'men.

Fortunately, Scott's balance isn't great either.

That fight against Koci He broke a finger as well , I think His balance issue is related to how hard He throws them . Most of Charas fights are more of a wrestling match .
