Anybody know what set Colton Orr off? I heard something about a Montreal player grabbing his stick, and throwing it?

Can we refer to Him as Colton there is only one Orr thanks .. I used it in the right context (mentioned the Leafs/Habs game from last night, used Bourque one punch in the sentence) so we didn't confuse what I said hopefully haha but yes I will start calling him Colton Orr from now on! My apologies! No biggie

Montreal radio announcers whining and crying that the Leafs were a disgrace for going after the Habs even though the game was already in the bag. Compared it to the Bruins beating up on the Habs after the 8-5 game in Boston. FUCK YOU MONTREAL. You deserve every beatdown, bite, and kick in the nuts you get. Your fans and media are a fucking joke and your team is a bunch of Euro pussies that aren't tough and can't even pretend to be. Quit your whining and crying and man the fuck up. The Habs are not a good team. They are not a contender and I don't even think they are a playoff team with their current roster. They are garbage and the Leafs exposed that Saturday night. that post made me feel a little sexy Just telling it like it is!

From what I've been told, you could hear a pin drop when Reimer went down. I guess that pisses away the lock the Leafs had on the Cup.
Flyers still play two pure 100% cement heads. Nothing changes with this franchise.

Nothing changes with this franchise. I loved all the talk about Reimer "solidifying himself as the starter" and "being the future goalie" and blah blah blah. The goaltending STILL is not good enough for the Leafs and even with Reimer pulling a good week or two stretch out of his hat, they still aren't going anywhere as far as I am concerned. Now with Reimer out they are really fucking screwed again but will just plug away with Scrivens and some other vet stopgap. Keep trying to jam that square peg in the round hole, Nonis! A few wins doesn't make you a legitimate starting goalie.

Fickle would be an understatement to describe Leaf fans. Media is just as bad.

He has had concussion issues and this latest leg injury doesn't look to be all that serious but come on. He isn't a starting goalie in my eyes and until he proves that by putting up AT LEAST A FULL SEASON and gets the Leafs to the playoffs he IS a bum. The Toronto media needs to give their fucking head a shake. He played good for a fucking week and he was solidified as the starter for the next decade? Yet all Summer they are screaming for Luongo because they have no goaltending. I hope the Leafs lose 4 in a row and get brought back down to earth.

TSN was fighting with itself regarding the shit kicking the Leafs gave the Habs.
On one side, the Toronto Sports Network wanted to push it hard. But on the other hand, The Scabs Network wanted to down play it.
As it stood, I thought ther coverage was moderate.

Call me crazy but I think the Leafs will make the playoffs and will surprise a lot of people. The minute they fired Ron Wilson they started on the road to making the playoffs. They have a system and they have toughness. I compare it to us moving from Dave Lewis to Claude Julien.

It is the East though and a shortened season. The Leafs may get hot and hang around and with teams like Ottawa and Philadelphia tanking it looks like there will be a couple spots up for grabs.

per some tweets lacerated achilles tendon, surgery required. It was Karlsson who got the skate across the leg. Wonder if the league will look at it.

What's the verdict, intentional or not. Considering the player, hard not to think it was intentional with his record.

The Sens were done without Spezza IMO but without Karlsson they are heading to the bottom of the Conference.

so that is the question.....did cooke intentionally do it.
since its him, many think it was a dirty play.
that to me is too hard to tell.
but since its that dirt bag taking out another awesome hockey player i think he should be fried.
when is the cheapshot artist going to get his?

You are right about the league not being able to deem it intentional. It is certainly tough to `prove`Cooke`s intent on the play and I think the league got it right by not reviewing it or suspending Cooke. However, I am nearly positive that Cooke knew what was happening on the play. He knew who he was going into the corner with and it really looks to me like he stomped down on Karlsson. Every other time two players go into the boards, skates aren`t coming off the ice and stomping down on the back of legs. Fuck Matt Cooke. Even if it was a complete accident that asshole isn`t getting the benefit of the doubt from me.

I always wonder how a Player like Cooke would have Survived in the Game of Hockey back in the 70's when I first started watching , it's easy He wouldn't .
