They need to be done with Caron, trade him or send him down and give someone else a chance. He's just plain useless. They need to find a way to keep Spooner in the lineup, if they give him a chance. This team the way they miss the net on shots reminds me of the Dave Clewless era Bruins, Holy shit it's ridiculous how many off line shots they take !

If they are going to play Spooner with Caron and Pandolfo then just put Spooner back in Providence now before he is ruined. It does Spooner no good to play with those 2 and only getting 5 minutes or so a game.

The possibility of picking up Jagr is intriguing. He is one guy who could help the PP isn't he? He could also provide that Lets do it for Recchi motto that they ran with when he was on the team. Koko and a high pick should do that right. Maybe Soderberg.

Calgary has so much invested in Iginla they are going to be looking for the home run to save face with their fans. I would pass on bringing him in. Jagr, one would think, should not require as big of a ransom based on time spent with the team and his age.

I would bet good money a lot of teams will be asking for a player like Anthony Camara in any trades the Bruins are involved in .

Pros and Cons of Jagr as a Bruin:
Pro - can't score on us if he's on the team Con - might be another Brian Propp
Pro - natural scorer Con - stick might finally dry up
Pro - would bug Montreal Con - it's Jagr, the same Jagr who was a hated Penguin

There are plenty of players I would take ahead of JJ , far as I am concerned He should have stayed the KHL ..

We have Khoko as well, he is a valuable asset. Is he signed. His season is over in Windsor so maybe he could be brought in for a look. He tore up the OHL this year when he came over. Hope they hold on to him, maybe their most dynamic offensive prospect.

Darren Dreger reporting that Iginla would accept a trade to Boston, Pittsburgh, LA, or Chicago. Can you imagine Iginla going to Pittsburgh? They're fucking rolling everyone already, toss in Iggy for depth? Fuck. We already match up poorly against them and that's not going to help. With there being 2 teams in both conferences the bidding war will benefit the Flames. Teams may have to be aggressive not only to score the player but to keep him out of a conference rival's hands.

Yeah & if IF pens get him they'd have to give up some part of the team that IS winning right now too ;D ;D

I'm not sure about that. Flames are supposedly keying in on prospects and picks. I'm betting the winning bidder could get him without touching their roster as long as the package coming back is high end assets.

@darrendreger: Source say the Pens and Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However, he has yet to waive no trade clause.
This may get the ball rolling if it happens ..

Doubt PC pays to much for anyone. One article someone mentioned yesterday had him saying he's given up on top 6 players due to the price and will try for bottom 6. Keep in mind someone said they read that, no link

@darrendreger: Source close to B.Morrow situation says Boston also in the mix. Morrow considering both Pens and Bruins.
Interesting ..
@sportsnetspec: Just told Flames GM Jay Feaster sent an email to 29 GMs informing Anton Babchuk and Cory Sarich are available. Both have NTCs.

I'd love to see Iginla land here. I really don't see it happening though. He is only a rental and I just don't see PC giving up anything to land Iggy. I think other GMs will be willing to pay a higher price and Feaster looks like he is going to be selling off everything for the highest bid!

bruins will prolly get someone like brad boyes.
cheap. and the type of player they would hope could re-new hisself with bergie.
and that prolly would not help out at all.
the only thing that might help would be getting iggy and bouwmeester from calgary.
but what would they have to give up to get that?
and that prolly wouldnt help either.

The guy singing the song is Mike Richards former host on the Fan in Calgary and now morning show host on TSN1050 Toronto. he is a big dufus and one of the most creepy radio people you will see. Check out his commercial www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqe_9DocAGsI hope he is not working in this city by the time my daughter becomes a teenager.

If they are able to land Inginla they would have to add another top 4 Dman and maybe a depth deal to make it worth while. Inginla alone probably doesn't change things much. Just wasting good prospects. Has he said anything about retiring or the likes?

St. Louis costs 5.6 million for two more years, can we afford him with the cap going down next year and Rask still to be signed?

i heard martin st louis coming to boston....... i dont know where this one came from. would you rather have him or Iggy? Tough call there. The only downside to St. Louis is the money, the guy's got plenty of heart as well as skill. Iginla has not only the heart and skill, but the size as well...plus no contract after this year. It's an absolute toss up as I think both of these guys are great players and would help us immensely, but from a long term (money/cap) pespective, you almost have to take Iggy.

True, but keeping one, or the other if we trade for them may screw us on the cap as well. This is one of the reason I don't much care for the big name playoff rental types. You give up a bunch to get the guy, for what is usually a short run and then they're gone. And the only true measure of whether, or not it was worth is a deep playoff run/Cup victory.
