Everything I've heard and read, it was Iginla. Do I hate him now? Yes. Do I hope he and his boyfriend Sid get testicular and rectal cancer? Yes. Can you blame him for choosing Pittsburgh? No. He had the ability to make the call of where he wanted to go to win a cup. I know it's hard for everyone, including me, being a lifelong Bs fan, but try to be objective. Honestly, if you were Iginla, and had the choice between the Bs and Pitt, to win a Cup at the end of your career, I don't think it takes much contemplation- Pitt, without question. And then add to the mix the great point Donny made, knowing the owner of your potential new team is Bettmans evil earpiece, it's a slam dunk decision. If he wanted to go to Pitt thats fine....trades get made all the time. He shouldnt have said he wanted to go to Boston then. you dont ask one girl to the Prom and then meet her much prettier cousin and ask her instead. its just not cool fuck him. fuck feaster--he got bent over and acted like a weak scrub I totally agree Kovs. It was classless and shitty. Believe me, I hope Feaster joins Sid and Jerome in the cancer ward. The whole fucking thing stinks.

they are trying to place blame on this.....PC, iggy, shero, crosby, agent.... we gotta remember who our owner is for the boston bruins. JJ=lockout=pissed off union players. Excellent point. I didn't even think of that. To be honest, I don't believe that JJ is the factor he once was with this team, regardless of how he's perceived by the union and players. PC is the one that counts most I think since he has to deal directly with the players. And he hasn't been stingy in his dealings with them and seems to have their respect, unlike his predecessors. Remember the annual hold out show we used to have to deal with before him? It seemed like every fucking year, they'd lowball somebody and they wouldn't play until December. The only real instance of a disgruntled player that we've had in the PC era is Kessel...and we all know how that worked out.

^ PC said this shit happens more than we think.
uncle fester is an idiot...he got less for his team so that is his fate.
dont worry about things that dont even happen.
maybe the young players work out for us.
maybe we trade them for something that will really help boston.
if we believe this was a bad act on boston then karma will be a bitch and something good might happen to boston.

Iginla screwed himself a little bit because he's burned a bridge. PC wanted to talk to him when he thought he had a deal to discuss extension. Feaster denied the request. Pittsburgh is going for it this year and then they have to trim the fat so I can't see them being able to afford him. Boston will have pretty much the same team moving forward so JI had a few cracks at his Cup with us. Both the Pens and JI have gone all in and I hope they fall flat on their faces. I'm of course cheering for the Bruins to win it all, but this season it's "ABP"...
ANYBODY BUT PITTSBURGH

Most of the radio talking heads blamed Feaster for not acting honourablly. And Iginla for putting several teams on his list, even though he only wanted one. Even Bob McCowan on Fan590 and believe it or not, Glenn Healy, were giving it to Feaster and Iginla.
Intersting that much of the "fair is fair", "business is business" nonsense comes from pro-Montrealers. Interesting because Iginla will most likely impact a Pens - Habs series. Monteral media can't see the forest for the trees.

I hear some talk that Sid called or even Mario called Iggy when Shero felt he wasn't going to get Iggy. Where does the tampering begin and end here?
Iggy goes on their second line with Gino because the Crosby line is already the best line in hockey. Malkin already has great chemistry with Neal so IMO Iggy has minimal impact anyway. What I'm saying is they're fat and fat is not good in hockey. If they lose Kunitz or Neal then he probably becomes a difference maker. Fuck the Pens!!

mike ribeiro and mike cammalerri rumored. yes on cam... fuck no on mikey possum ribs. Ribiero's a little shit but he's having a career season. Cam's an overrated shit but can score and getting him would cause Hab fans to lose their marbles. I wouldn't offer much more than a barrel fuck for him though. Koivu would be another addition that would drive Habs fans nuts and a guy that although small, goes balls out in the post season.

If they are going to go blockbuster then Yandle is the fish they need to land IMO You might have a point on Bouwmeester but he is their shutdown guy while Wideman hasn't shutdown anything in his life. Yandle is more of a Wideman type IMO. I can't trust Yandle when he basically got supplanted by a 20 year D'man in Ekman-Larsson last year. Maybe we should just look for some undervalued player not getting a chance and that doesn't cost much, if that player even exists. Either way I believe we do need help back there.
