Big game tonight. Could take over 1st place. TB had a rough game last night and had to fly home for tonight's game. Bruins were probably already in Tampa sleeping by the time they arrived. Maybe we catch them at a good time. Do we go with Rask in back to backs?

Maybe we catch them at a good time. Do we go with Rask in back to backs? Tough call on that one. Rask has been saving their bacon quite a bit lately. 35+ shot nights are beginning to become a bit too commonplace. The question is, how well will Gus fair under that kind of bombardment? While I think Liles has helped stabilized things a bit, they still spend WAY too much fucking time in their own end, hence the retarded shot totals. With 1st place on the line, I am betting Clode goes with Rask, but you never know.

I think we should come back with Tuuka, it won't kill him and this game is too big to throw in the backup.

Like I said last night, Tampa had a 9 game winning streak snapped last night so often when a team loses after a long winning streak, they don't have the same jump..

The Stamkos line torched them last time they played. Have to clamp down on them tonight. No lazy penalties/errant sticks tonight. See if they can keep the shots against tonight below 40. The best is yet to come.

Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Projected Lines for Bruins
The Boston Bruins can move into first place in the Atlantic Division for the first time all season with a win Tuesday night over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Bruins moved to within one point of the top spot after Monday night’s overtime win over the Florida Panthers. The Lightning, who entered Tuesday as the division leaders, had a nine-game win streak snapped Monday with a loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Neither team held a pregame skate Tuesday morning in Tampa Bay, but with goalie Tuukka Rask getting the nod against Florida, expect backup Jonas Gustavsson to be in net against the Lightning. The Bolts, meanwhile, started their No. 2, Andrei Vasilevskiy, against Philly, meaning the Bruins likely will see starter Ben Bishop.
The line combinations for both teams won’t become clear until pregame warmups, but it will be interesting to see how Bruins coach Claude Julien positions right wings David Pastrnak and Brett Connolly. Julien flipped the two midway through Monday’s win, promoting Connolly to the second line and dropping Pastrnak to the fourth.
Here’s a look at the projected lineups, which are subject to change:
BOSTON BRUINS (37-23-7) Brad Marchand — Patrice Bergeron — Lee Stempniak Matt Beleskey — David Krejci — David Pastrnak Loui Eriksson — Ryan Spooner — Jimmy Hayes Landon Ferraro — Noel Acciari — Brett Connolly
Zdeno Chara — Adam McQuaid John-Michael Liles — Dennis Seidenberg Torey Krug — Zach Trotman
Jonas Gustavsson

Gustavsson HAS to play sometime to get his confidence back. He's played a lot better on the road like all Bruins so maybe this is a great time to give Tuukku a well deserved rest!

Gustavsson has NEVER lost to Tampa Bay in his 9 career games against them, going 5-0-4 with a 2.17 goals against average and a .924 save %..On the road this season, he's 7-2 with a 2.14 Gaa and a .922 save %..Very impressive, both stats...

Gus having a great game so far and Hayes put a heavy hit on Hedman at the end of that period, he looked dazed.

Gus with a solid game , to many penalties again tonight .. 20 minutes Getter Done Boys .. Bruins have 3 penalties but when Tampa is applying all this pressure, I'm surprised they don't have more. Gustavsson after making a few highlite saves. Bruins win this in 3rd!!

No way we can hold them off at this pace. Now we have to kill a penalty.
