It's all good Newf, he's getting paid handsomely and if he would've played like this last year or the year before he wouldn't be in this boat and he knows that. Think him and C Miller are going to be alternating in and out for stretches at a time. Be great to get to Holtby like they did Bishop. Carlo's 1st time against OV. |

I always liked the kid and felt he had a ton of potential. And now that he's growing up, putting some meat on his bones and becoming more physical, I think the skies the limit for him. |

Exactly...and to take that thought one step further, we better hope that the same can be said for DS's 'off the board' picks from the last two drafts. I realize that drafts are a crap shoot, at best, after the first 5-10 picks. But I figure if 2, maybe 3 of the kids he's picked end up making the Bruins' varsity squad as well as some kind of impact as players, it will be a win for him. |

Sometimes as I'm sure you're well aware, it takes most defencemen years to make it to the NHL. As for last year or the year before, what does that have to do with this year?? The thing that bothers me is: He's forever been in and out of the line up. If he's good enough to play with Boston, let him play because he was definitely getting better every game and when Chara returned, everyone knows whether they want to admit it or not, he was far from the worst of the 6. There's no doubt he deserved to get a little confidence from the coaching staff and still be in the line up. If they rotate him with, lets say C Miller, at least he got a chance to play every 2nd game although I like a regular 6..Morrow will be 24 in a couple days, he is ready to be a regular in this league and he will be. But I expect it'll be with another team. As for your comment about what he's getting paid, that applies to every player in the league and some are overpaid, like Mcquaid. So to make a long story short, he played excellent while Chara was out. He was a big reason Bruins had success without Z..Yet ONCE AGAIN, he's the odd man out and he just played too well to be sitting. THAT's what he knows!! |

I'm anxious to see how it all works out. Just wish Bergy was 5 years younger. Him and Krejci plus others are going to be on the tail end of their careers by the time most of them make it. But hey, we cant just stop the clock. Time waits for no man!! Who's manning the pipes tonight for Bruins?? I would imagine they split tonight and tomorrow vs Av's..I think I would go with Dolby tonight and Rask tomorrow. Got to get a minimum 2 points here between 2 games. Sens are 1 pt ahead and in SJ tonight. Be nice to pull into 2nd with just the Habbies ahead of them. Chance to also pull within the slumping Habs,, |

Excellent pick by Sweeney and Company. He just might make the Bruins next season, if not the season after. Naw, I'm just convinced Morrow is easily one of our top 6. Maybe I'm wrong, I've been rooting for him since we got him in the Seguin deal. And I still think he's the best we got back from that deal. He'll do great in Vegas!! |

Anyway Pasta now getting noticed by non Bruins fans. Not sure I like that. I kinda like him getting lost in the Mcdavid, Matthews, Liane "aren't they great" vapour trail. But when he keeps putting up the numbers someone's bound to notice and when he makes highlight real plays that are hard not to notice then I guess it was enviable....
