No excuses here. LA continues its long road trip with very poor goaltending. They're scoring bunches of goals to make up for it. PLEASE don't make Budaj look like Brodeur. This is a stupid matinee game and Bruins need to have a good week. Teams behind us all have games in hand and we're only 3 pt up on Tampa, tied for 2nd with the Sens but they have 2 in hand..Still very early..

Maybe I was wrong when I said LA was getting poor goaltending of late..Budaj stopped 39 shots for a 1-0 win..I know that was the talk of LA earlier but Budaj's stats are looking better as of late. Bruins still need to score early and often.

Have father in-laws Xmas family luncheon today so W/be DVRing this to watch later. Hope I'm NOT disappointed?!?! W/Pasta out no way Haze sits & He'll be on PP!?!?!? WTF CJ the guy SUCKS 5on5 why the FUCK is he on PP?  ? Who will dress for Pasta? Frankie V didn't play last night in slaughter vs baby Flyers.Was that due to bringing him up slowly, will he dress for Providence today??? |

In the 13 games the Bruins have been a morose 3-for-33 on PP, their opponents have been a near-equally-inept 4-for-34.

I really thought Bruins would bring up Celarik..Someone posted he has 13 goals with Pro?? Maybe his defensive game isn't ready..
Our 3rd line looks like a bad 4th line, even though Hayes accidently scored, found his nut..

I really like Czarnik..Take useless Nash off the 1st line and put him with Bergy and Marshy..He's really playing well here of late.. Cant understand why Julien would pick Nash over him..

Speaking of young guys, Pastrnak is only 21 or something like that while Backes is 32..Backes missed 2 weeks but I think Pasta will be back much earlier simply because he's much younger and not so beat up like older players. He's one player we cannot afford to lose for 2 weeks. If he IS gone for that long, the points we lose just might cost us the playoffs. We're just clinging to 3rd place just because other teams in our division are playing no better, But watch out for Buffalo and maybe even Leafs. Tampa and Florida are just a couple points back so this game is crucial to win, would go a long ways..
