If they lose 1-0 they will outshoot the Wings 35-21 and Detroit will score with 1:42 left in the 3rd.
Or Boston will win 5-2

Now that they're out of a playoff position, tonight will show if they have any fight at all..So pissed as I am with the situation and the lack of change, I like the way they played against Hawks..Boston can be a very good team IF THEY'LL WILLING TO PUT IN THE EFFORT, ALL OF THEM..But if they're not worried about winning as a team, be damned if I will..
I do expect a convincing win tonight IF Rask is good to go

How many games in the past three seasons have actually been enjoyable? The games are robotic, no creativity, only cycle bullshit and no body wants to be the goat on the wrong side of the puck from fear of catching wrath from the coaching staff. I wish it looked like they were having fun, I wish they played with grit and I wish they played with some flare and not fear.

I really think it would of taken a good coach to get 93 and 96 out of the teams we had the past 2 years and this year, just seems the team don't want it bad enough. Plus there's too many scrubs on the team. Again, Julien does a lot of things that piss me off but he is without one of the best in the business getting so much out of so little. My frustration is pointed to the ones upstairs who's supposed to seek out the weakness on the team and try to fix it by either trade or bringing up youth. Yet they sit on their friggin butts and act like everything is fine..In other words, they leave Julien to take all the crap. Plus I don't think most of the players want a new coach moving in. Maybe its the vets who won a cup with Julien. I'm also afraid that if they fire CJ, Cassidy moves in. That scares the shit outta me. I know he was very unpopular with the players in Providence. Bring in Gallant and maybe it WOULD make a slight difference but regardless, we have the same players on the ice and it comes down to who gets the most out of them.

Good points, I respect your views but I think I'm on the other side of the fence on a lot of it. I don't know if the coach stays or goes and I don't blame Julien for the whole mess but I believe he has to be held partially accountable. We have good players in Bergeron, Krejci, Marchand, Patrnak, Backes and I think Spooner and Vatrano may have the goods to help this team. That's 7 forwards plus Moore is reliable/intelligent and Schaller is okay. If our D is bad why is our PK so good. I think we are currently under achieving under Claude and there is only one way to prove or disprove my theory. Maybe the core does like Claude but maybe they're to comfortable and don't get the boot in the ass they need. They need a fire lit under them. On Sunday Pittsburgh played with the same kind of urgency we used to have, I found myself thinking we don't have that anymore. I share your view on Cassidy if he went in now and failed it should spell the end of him in Boston but if he gets hired in the summer I think next season is a write off as well. I think a new coach could give us a clearer look at which players we keep or punt out of here.

@nhlbruins 10/10 on offensive zone faceoffs thru 1st. Gotta take adv of that
Quality work by Jared Coreau (20 saves). Wings are lucky to be down just one.

You know it's bad when the never ending marathon of That 70s Show on IFC is more appealing to watch than this bunch of useless fucks.

I dunno anymore Kjc, maybe you're right and a new coach will light a fire under the asses that need to get going..Maybe a new coach is just what this team needs..I realize a change is needed, I'm mostly afraid of what that change maybe. I'll even go as far as saying I'm satisfied with a coaching change as long as the new coach is outside Bruins management or anything Bruins. Maybe Gallant would do a good job. Right now it's just too much status quo when it comes to bruins hockey. I'm tired of watching games similar to tonight where things looked so promising in the 1st. Pasta's slump is really hurting this team and for sure it affects him. But he's young and this will help him in the long run. If I hear tomorrow Bruins have a new coach, Julien gets hired elsewhere almost right away and that team will be better so I hope he goes out west..Maybe he ends up back in Montreal, imagine that?? I almost wish this was the last game of the year.Man I'm tired, just tired!!
