Most useless profession there is......weathermen, excuse me ladies weatherperson. i normally don't believe a signal word that comes out of the weathermans mouth. I live by the motto "what you see's it what's you get's" works for me!

I figure that if a designated hitter only needs to be right one out of three times to be succcesful, who are we to diss weatherpeople who are right only slightly more often than that. If you were wrong as many times as a weatherman, would you still have your job...??

Just got back in from shovelling (again). The pile in the front yard is as tall as I am (and I'm 6'2"). We're thinking about putting in a ski lift and selling tickets...

I am trying to figure out what day it is after a nasty week of plowing snow ... Then when i finally get home after a 20 hour day, and help out a few people on the way (neighbours).... Bruins Rule....

I just want to know what the deal is with kids nowadays. When I was younger me and a buddy would make a killing shoveling people's driveways. First kids came to my house at 3:30 Sat afternoon AFTER I had already shoveled! Kids have it that easy that they don't need/want any extra money? On top of that, I live in a cul-de-sac where every house but one has kids under the age of 16. There were only 4 kids outside playing all weekend. Put the XBox away and go sledding or have a snowball fight or make some money.

Colder that a witches tit here the past 2 days. Now they are saying ice, snow, then rain for Wednesday, and a high of 40. Probably will snow like hell and be in the 20's of anything. Chill factor last night was in the -30's.

We have already gotten some snow, which is going to continure then turn to freezing rain and sleet, changing to all rain with about of 1/2" of rain. Claim it will hit 40 tomorrow. I don't know whether to get the snow blower, the ice chipper, or what ready.

I would rather have snow than rain. Did we go through all those storms to get a white Christmas only to have it all melt away on Christmas Eve?

Looks like a warming trend will be moving into Chicago after Christmas. They better pray for colder weather for that outdoor game.
