Thanks, we are ok. We are up high enough. Had to do a lot of driveway work to move some water. Had a very little bit in the basement.
Montpelier and Barre (the 2 towns that are by me) are flooding in downtown now.
The rivers are 5 feet above flood stage and rising.
Will post some pictures.

My dad used to own this building and had his business in it. It flooded back in 1992 due to an ice jam in the river. Then it flooded in 2011 from hurricane Irene rains. Sold it in 2012.

This place is a disaster. I made it into work taking several different roads because so many are closed. Downtown Montpelier is destroyed. 3 dams are on high alert as they may breach. One of which is above Montpelier and has never breached. If that goes I can only imagine how much damage will occur.

I'm up in Burlington area for work this week. Water is pretty high around here. Hoping all are well down in Montpelier and that route 89 is still there on Friday when I head home. Crazy.

Turns out my father in law lost his whole house. Single floor double wide that had 4 feet of water in it. Completely tore it apart. Other than that things are mostly good. Lots of places still cleaning up. Trash/garbage/ all over the place. Stores emptying everything out because they are destroyed. This is what it looks like in front of every house/store

The good news is, after today's latest round of wet bullshit, it looks like we have at least 3 days with nothing...wow...imagine that...3 whole days without some kind of precipitation. Maybe.

Just driving around down here and seeing how devastated some areas are is quite depressing. Irene was bad, but I am thinking that this one topped it.

Like Crafar said the devastation is horrible.

Looks like you all got more rain up that way today. Hope it isn't causing any further damage. That's just crazy.
