In the WHL, Reid Dyck stopped all 28 shots he faced as Swift Current thumped Lethbridge 6-0. And some of them were of the spectacular fashion, which we have been accustomed to seeing Dyck make. I’m not sure who started the hashtag but I believe credit goes to Ryan Switzer on X but the WHL has started using the hashtag #ReidDyckulous when they post video highlights. I can’t wait for Mike Dunham and Bob Essensa to get a hold of Dyck and fine tune his game. Dyck also recorded a shutout in the following game for back to back shutouts with over 50 shots combined..Dyck, Svedberg, Bussi, Dipietro,Bruins goaltending prospect pool looks very very strong!! Personally I think Dyck and Bussi may be the best two but really impossible to tell at this point of their careers..

"Reid Dyck has won his last 7 starts allowing just 9 goals and posting 2 shutouts for a .951 save percentage." Woohoo! I'm hoping I get to see some playoff action this year from Reid. He's red hot!

#NHLBruins prospect and @scbroncos goaltender Reid Dyck gets his 7th straight victory as his Broncos beat the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers. Reid is now 17-6-2 and a 2.57 GAA and .915 Save%.

#OHL Disciplinary Action: London's Jackson Edward has been suspended for two games as a result of actions on Feb. 23rd at Kingston.
Nothing on the ice this time. Apparently hit a camera on the way off the ice.

He would be a Player perfect for playing against FLA Yes, he would but he needs to keep on the good side of the line for the rest of this season I think. That has to be his 4th suspension this year alone. I don’t know that for a fact but it’s at least 3 maybe more.

He did get ejected from the game before the camera incident. Not sure what for though.

Reid Dyck is on a roll. On Monday, he stopped 25 of 27 shots as the Swift Current Broncos defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-2. Dyck won his eighth consecutive start and has helped the Broncos jump into 4th place in the WHL Eastern Conference standings. Dyck improved to 17-6-2 on the season. For comparison, the Broncos are 13-13-4 without Dyck. For the first time this season and with thanks in large part to Dyck, the Swift Current Broncos are ranked in the CHL’s top-10 teams. Ory should like this if he dont already know and he likely do.. In the OHL, the London Knights defeated the Windsor Spitfires 7-2. Jackson Edward scored for the first time since November 15, ending a 30-game draught. He finished with 2 SOG and was a plus-2 in 21:36 TOI. Edward is now fifth in the OHL with a plus-36. He'll be a Boston Bruin minimun 2 years, quite the physical presense and his game although a little offense in him, but he;s better at defending..EXACTLY what the Bruins need.. Edward was at it again as the London Knights blanked the Kingston Frontenacs 5-0. Edward had a helper, was a plus-2 and had 2 SOG through 2 periods. However, just over a minute into the third a melee began and it sure looked like Edward was going to go in what would have been a true heavyweight bout. One of his Knights teammates came in and Edward went after another Frontenac and was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct. Could he be hearing from the league again? Yes, but not for his on-ice actions. On his way to the dressing room, Edward interfered with a camera and the OHL frowns upon that.

It’s been a while I liked his play just don’t fight . What has he done to deserve a call up compared to others down there?? 53 games 5 goals 6 assists a -6..Yea that should work, at least Richard was scoring with Prov..This HAS to be a move to improve Providence NOT Boston!!!

There doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reason just gotta hope the Kid does well 🤷♂️ Marc M is 18th in scoring..Thats on the Prov team, not the entire AHL and he has the 2nd worst +/- on the team at -6..Just to compare, Alex Regula has an AHL BEST +33, next to him on Pro has a +24..Regula also has 24pts which also lead his team..I know he's not a forward but I wonder why he never got a call up when we had injuries at the back end..He's a big body too, might be a reg next season, he deserves at least a look, numbers way better than Ian Mitchell and hes after playing a few games.. Anyway, getting back to McLaughlin, there's ALOT of players that deserves a call up and he just hasnt produced at all so why is he the one? And Monty was raving about Richard 2 games ago, now he's sent down, okkie....

I liked McLaughlin when he played for Butch, nothing flashy, very few mistakes, he won a lot of pucks with his smarts but Monte didn’t give him much of a sniff at either camp. Seems weird that Donny is auditioning all these news guys this past month, is he just showcasing people?

All of course except Lysell..Gotta be some specific reason why so many have got at least a call up but they continue to keep Lysell in the A..Maybe they're set on leaving him there until next season where they hope he can be a regular. Its so difficult putting a value on Lysell when he has yet to play a single nhl game but thats fine if their intent is to keep him..

My guess is that Lysell will be called up as soon as the deadline passes...assuming he isn't traded.

It’s all about the cap. McLovin and Richard each make 775K. As it stands now there’s something like 62K of cap left. Beecher, Merkulov, Lysell all make too much to be able to called up right now. Thanks Don.

Thanks Don. Shouldn’t Lindholm be on IR, are we accumulating cap space now? Maybe Donny is accumulating what he can now and giving himself as much breathing room as possible to make a deadline deal.
