It’s all about the cap. McLovin and Richard each make 775K. As it stands now there’s something like 62K of cap left. Beecher, Merkulov, Lysell all make too much to be able to called up right now. Thanks Don. Shouldn’t Lindholm be on IR, are we accumulating cap space now? Maybe Donny is accumulating what he can now and giving himself as much breathing room as possible to make a deadline deal. Yep

Thanks Don. Apparently an emergency call up (which is what MacLaughlin was labeled as) has to make $875k or less. I did not know this. Lysell would fit under this number but not sure he fits money wise.

**In Monday’s off ice news, Reid Dyck was named the WHL goaltender of the week for the second time in February for the week ending February 25, 2024. Dyck won his 3 starts and had a goals-against-average of 1.99 and a save percentage of .925. **In bonus news, Samuel St Hilaire, who was invited to Bruins rookie camp, was named QMJHL goaltender of the week going 2-0-0 and stopping every shot he faced in back-to-back shutouts. With Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro requiring waivers next season, it will be interesting to see if the Bruins look hard at St Hilaire or possibly William Rousseau, also from the QMJHL. **In the OHL, Jackson Edward returned after missing the last 3 games with a suspension and injury as the London Knights defeated the Flint Firebirds 4-3. Edward did not factor in the scoring and was a plus-1 with 1 SOG in 21:00 TOI. Edward is now 4th in the OHL in plus/minus with a plus-39.

With 15G-34A-49PTS in 55GP, Fabian Lysell is just one point away from surpassing both Jack Studnicka and Jake DeBrusk for single-season point totals in Providence. This would make him Boston’s first draft pick to put up 50 points in Providence since 2015-2016. #NHLBruins

Hope so and more but guess there’s no room for a point a game right shot RW highly skilled who can fly, with over 100 games in the Providence on this team.

My hope is he pulls a bit of a 2011 Tyler Seguin in the playoffs and finds his way into the lineup somehow. I'm really not holding my breath though. I feel like we would need to see a ton of injuries for him to get a shot.

Lysell needs to pass one test first to get the call, a foot race with JVR. 🤣

Can maybe see Jake’s rights traded early for a pick if they can’t come to terms.

Bruins should sign this defenceman out of college just because his name is Boston Buckberger

In case you missed the rumors on Twitter
Allegedly Quillan wants Boston and Boston wants him
Boston wants Graf and Graf is interested
Graf doesn't want Boston and Boston has moved on

A chance today to get eyes on this Quillan yute at 4 o’clock on espn2 against BC. Looks like he is a 6’ 200lbs left shot center. If they lose who knows maybe he’s on the roster soon.

The kid’s the real deal. Top 6 center who had a couple of goals in a OT loss. A team leader, hard on the puck played in all situations. A real rink rat. Kind of a cross between Marchand and Poitras. Get busy Don.
