I really like Weber but my goodness that trade looks worse and worse by the day. It was really perplexing to me that they did it that way. Essentially at the top of their game I think both Weber and Subban are impact star players but Subban is 4 years younger. The Preds are going to have him at his best for a long time and Weber may be entering the end of his prime already.

I like Weber too and in all fairness, there's no way to predict on a player's health. That being said, I honestly thought that it would work out for both teams, NSH long term and MTL short term, but it isn't turning out that way.

I think madmarx reported Kampfer's knee injury. I just wanted to get this year's thread going. Hmmm I'm just gonna leave this here....

GREAT NEWS ON TUUKKU as per Boston Globe
Tuukka Rask, who departed the Garden ice Saturday night dazed and rubber-legged, has the benefit of the Bruins “bye” week before possibly reporting back to work for Monday’s practice with rest of his Black-and-Gold teammates.
In an email exchange with the Globe late Tuesday morning, Rask’s agent noted he believes there isn’t “anything to be too concerned about” in regard to the franchise goaltender’s recovery.
“I think,” added the agent, Brett Peterson, “it is day-to-day for him right now.”

Boston Bruins Have Lost Another Defenceman The Bruins had Torey Krug, Matt Grzelcyk and Kevan Miller on the injury list heading into the game against the Lightning on Monday night. Moore has become the fourth injured skater on the Bruins defensive line.
Torey Krug, who has missed the past six games because of a concussion, should be back in the lineup on Wednesday night when the Bruins return back home to face the New York Rangers at TD Garden.
Kevan Miller and Matt Grzelcyk are making their progress and they should come back to the Boston’s lineup somewhere around the weekend. The Bruins face the Florida Panthers on Saturday and Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Head Coach Bruce Cassidy expects them to play in at least four of the final six games of the regular season.

Sounds that way partner..And Crafar, I think a healthy defense is the key to beating the leafs. I thin Bruins have better goaltending and a much better defense..Plus, Leafs rode Anderson right to the ground again this year. I think he's showing he's tired now, giving up a pile of goals, even when Leafs win.. If we have a healthy defense, It'll take one helluva effort from the Leafs to beat the Bruins..Thats how I feel about it..

Sidney Crosby underwent a successful core muscle injury repair. The expected recovery time is a minimum of six weeks.

"A core muscle injury refers to damage to any skeletal muscle within the area between the chest and mid-thigh. These muscles are symmetrically arranged around the pubic bone and thinking about the anatomy this way helps one understand the pathophysiology of a lot of these injuries"

I don't blame them though. The NHL is full of trash players that would for sure target an injured player in that area (wrist, shoulder, etc) if they were super specific all the time.

Oh absoluetly that's why they're NOT telling exact injury. I hate when Bruins s announce specific injury, Pasta Thumb, some knee, wrist. As you said I know they are dirt bag teams that WILL target a key player's recent injury to re-injury to get then out of the game .Especially in post season play!! Team like Blues

Not that I have a medical degree but I heard hernia. Which is very common injury. A hernia is a split on the muscle tissue. The stomach muscles are separated by tendons and other muscles and when they herniate the inside guts can fall out. Like organs or intestines..... Depends on the size of the hernia I guess...

It appears that DeBrusk could be doing just that. Here are the latest updates on Boston's other injuries, according to Cassidy:
Bergeron (lower body) | Did not skate, but traveled to New Jersey. Will be a game-time decision. Krug (upper body) | Skated before practice, return could come later this week. Miller (knee) | In the midst of scheduled time off, trending toward a return next week. Ritchie (upper body) | Practiced and traveled to New Jersey. Will be a game-time decision. Backes (upper body), Kuhlman (leg), Senyshyn (lower body) | Not yet skating.

When all these boys are ready to go I think we're definitely getting into the area of cap issues, so can we see a trade early December?
